He later joins Azure Luan and Lion in condensing an attribute Soul Core under Qian Daoliu's protection. His newly formed Power Soul Core breaks the bottleneck that had held him at peak rank 98 for years, making him a rank-99 Peerless Douluo. 112 113 By the time Qian Daoliu forms a second, Spiritual Soul Core, Golden Crocodile acknowledges that Qian Daoliu may now be considered a Quasi-God. 192

Golden Crocodile joins the other Spirit Hall worshipers on an expedition across uncharted seas, including journeys to explore and acquire Soul Tools from the Sun-Moon Continent. 203 204 231 When their ship is confronted by two ten-thousand-year Sea Dragon Whales and a ninety-thousand-year leader, he takes command of the defense and orders the crew to preserve the vessel. 204 205

After Azure Luan traps the whales with a control skill, Golden Crocodile activates his Golden Crocodile King Avatar and drives the ninety-thousand-year whale away with a tail strike. The other two whales retreat with it. 205 He suggests recording the locations of any hundred-thousand-year sea soul beasts they encounter for Yu Changge's future soul-ring hunt. 205

The expedition brings back Soul Tools, including a rare grade-seven tool. Golden Crocodile is tempted to bring Sun-Moon Continent Soul Engineers back by force but refrains because doing so would violate Spirit Hall's principles. 231 On a later trip, he returns with Azure Luan and Guang Ling bearing a larger collection of first- to sixth-grade Soul Tools.
