Background

Fang Yuan transmigrated to Douluo Continent and was raised in Star Dou Forest by Gu Yuena, the Sovereign of Ten Thousand Beasts. Although she ordinarily despises humans and maintains a distant disposition, Gu Yuena directs exceptional affection and protection toward him. Bi Ji also regards him as a child she helped raise. 1 3

At age six, Gu Yuena personally awakened his martial souls beside the Lake of Life. Fang Yuan manifested twin martial souls: the Dark Dragon God, a black dragon bearing an exceptionally pure Dragon God aura, and a pitch-black mechanical wristwatch tool martial soul.
