Background / History

Dai Mubai is the third biological son of the Star Luo Emperor. Under the imperial family's brutal succession system, he competes with his eldest brother, Dai Weisi, for the future throne; his second brother had already failed and been killed. Victory would make Dai Mubai the next Star Luo Emperor. 188

He was engaged to Zhu Zhuqing, but previously fled while leaving her to face danger alone. Zhu Zhuqing consequently abandoned her expectations of him and fled the family with her sister, later viewing Dai Mubai as weak both in strength and character. 64 144
