Background / History

Hal grew up alongside Lin Hanxuan, who considers him his most important brother after living as an orphan. Their bond is defined by mutual care rather than blood relation. 2

During an elemental-summoning lesson, Hal is reprimanded alongside Lin Hanxuan for whispering in class. When Qito commands an Atmospheric Spirit to attack Lin Hanxuan, Hal intervenes and is injured protecting him. His leg is fully healed at the treatment center. 1 2

Hal later reveals an inherited bloodline when entering the Rotting Swamp. His body grows taller and his green skin becomes fair, giving him the appearance of an elf. Duoduo identifies this change as inherited bloodline activation and wonders whether Hal may be the King of Goblins. 5

After Lin Hanxuan disappears during the Dead City crisis, Hal leaves the camp with Aslan to seek Peiganbo's help. He infiltrates Dead City disguised as an Orc, helps coordinate reinforcements, and assists in trapping the retreating Radiant Knight rebels. 38 39 40 41 43

Personality

He is intensely combat-minded. After being injured by the Atmospheric Spirit, he spends the day mentally rehearsing a rematch and continues fighting it in his sleep, damaging the dormitory in the process. 3
