Background / History

Aslan intervened when Qito's Atmospheric Spirit injured Hal while targeting Lin Hanxuan. He knocked Qito away, stood between the attacker and his targets, and helped carry Hal to the treatment center. During the walk, he warned Lin Hanxuan that Qito may have been used by Yi Junshu and explained why Lin's connections to Fields and Lei Wang made him politically valuable to the Yi Family. 2 3

When Lin needed to reach the Rotting Swamp urgently, Aslan immediately suggested borrowing Duoduo's Two-Headed Giant Bird. Kubaka's sudden appearance startled him, and the frog tore several hairs from Aslan's chest while demanding the answer. 4 5

During the Locust crisis, Aslan suspected that the swarm was being directed deliberately, noting that it had bypassed Dead City despite that route being shorter. His argument with Yi Junze over the matter nearly became violent until Lin Hanxuan intervened; Yi Junze later apologized for insulting beastfolk. 12 13

When Yi Junze was badly wounded after entering a fissure to save Hermie, Aslan reacted to a burst of sand by seizing him and leaping aside, but was cut by Peiganbo's hand blade. He cauterized his own wounds with Flame: Scorch before Tidavi healed him. 14 15

Aslan later joined Hal in attacking Peiganbo. He grabbed the Blood Mantis's leg, cut his soft abdomen with his claws, and continued clinging to him after Peiganbo took flight, eventually surviving the fall after being thrown off. 16

While assigned to sentry duty, Aslan concealed that Hal's Dynamic Fire Net had caused a major explosion, directing Pulingo toward a false report that an enemy fireball had struck the post. 36

After learning that Lin Hanxuan was missing, Aslan transformed and flew Hal to the Rotting Swamp using Qito's Sky Crystal. He recruited Peiganbo to aid Dead City's defense, then helped coordinate the counterattack against the Radiant Knight rebels. 38 39 41 43

Appearance

Personality

Aslan is protective and quick to act against threats to his companions. He defended Lin Hanxuan and Hal from Qito without hesitation, rescued Yi Junze despite their earlier disagreement, and repeatedly placed himself in danger against Peiganbo. 2 14 16

He is perceptive and politically aware. He recognized the possible motives behind the attack on Lin Hanxuan, doubted the seemingly instinctive behavior of the Locust swarm, and quickly assessed that Lin's continued survival meant Peiganbo had not sensed a broken contract. 2 3 12 39

He also has a mischievous side, teasing Lin Hanxuan about a possible sweetheart in the Rotting Swamp and demanding wine from Hal after covering for him at the sentry post. 5 36
