Background / History

Shendu was resurrected with the intent to summon his dragon minions and rule the world. Unlike his usual portrayal, he detected the heroes' approach, immobilized those present with telekinesis, killed a Section 13 agent with his eye lasers, and deployed both dragon minions and Shadow Ninja to overwhelm his enemies. 2

Uncle's chi magic disrupted Shendu long enough for Qiao Luo, Jackie Chan, and Jade to act. Qiao Luo used a Shadow Clone as a distraction while stealing the talismans from Shendu; once the Rat Talisman was removed, Shendu reverted to a statue. Jade then destroyed the statue, an act that disrupted the world's balance of yin and yang. 3

Shendu later returned by possessing Valmont. Working with Valmont's group, he used the Panku Box to release demons from Hell, though Jade helped send them back. 50 He subsequently traveled to a space station to release the Moon Demon, Tso Lan, but abandoned the confrontation with Queen Jade when he recognized her superiority. 58

During the battle surrounding Tso Lan, Shendu fought Jackie Chan and believed the Moon's corruption guaranteed his victory. Tso Lan's demonic energy was instead extracted, ending Shendu's plan. 59 Jackie Chan subdued Shendu and his associates aboard the ruined space station; after Qiao Luo returned the group to Section 13, Shendu was placed in a cell. 60
