Background / History
On August 10, 2028, Feng Buzhi has forty-three hours remaining before he will grab a speck of light and enter the Abyss World 664.
Two tigerfolk appear separately on the rooftop of Building Three at Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital. One is Feng Buzhi from across the timeline, and unlike a parallel-world counterpart, he will disappear if he changes the future 664.
The sixth-rank timeline Feng Buzhi infiltrates the underground research base of Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital and hypnotizes Feng Buzhi to stop him from entering the Abyss World. He chooses hypnosis because killing Feng Buzhi at that point in time would cause Feng Buzhi’s consciousness to be drawn into the Abyss World automatically 664.
The hypnosis changes Feng Buzhi’s training routine. He still performs extreme self-restriction training, including tying himself to a bed and injecting himself with excessive sedatives, but does so less often and spends more time in the underground experimental base 664.
After understanding the truth, Feng Buzhi uses his power freely. He reaches the disappearing timeline self, touches the dissolving specks of light, undergoes dissolution and reconstruction through reversed time, and attains the seventh rank 664.
Afterward, Feng Buzhi appears as a speck of light within Building One of the Soul Vessel Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital. As he moves through it, the building becomes complete, and Buildings One through Five connect into a single whole under white radiance 664.
Appearance
Feng Buzhi is shown in tigerfolk form during the timeline sequence at Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital 664.
- Appears as a white tigerfolk when emerging from the void 664.
- Can transform into dazzling specks of light during high-level temporal-spatial action 664.
- Reconstitutes his body after time flows backward 664.
Personality
Feng Buzhi responds to timeline interference with analysis rather than panic. After discovering that he had been hypnotized, he quickly identifies how it altered his training and why his past memories felt strange 664.
He is intensely goal-oriented. Even after resolving the timeline anomaly, he immediately turns the result into cultivation progress, stabilizing Rank Seven and preparing for Rank Eight 664.
His narration frames his own story as a “third-person autobiography,” and he observes readers’ thoughts in search of inspiration for advancing toward omniscience and omnipotence 664.
Abilities & Skills
Time and Space Manipulation
By the time he advances, time and space are “no longer constraints” for Feng Buzhi 664.
- Appears behind the other timeline self without difficulty 664.
- Becomes a speck of light and moves into Building One of the Soul Vessel Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital 664.
- Reverses time at the moment of dissolution, rebuilding his body 664.
- Exists or moves through an unknown crack between spaces 664.
Timeline Interaction
Feng Buzhi can interact with another version of himself from across the timeline 664.
- Identifies the other tigerfolk as himself from another timeline 664.
- Has the other self restrained and his thoughts invaded to learn his purpose 664.
- Absorbs the disappearing timeline self to complete his seventh-rank advancement 664.
Mental Invasion and Hypnosis
Mental interference is central to the timeline incident 664.
- The sixth-rank timeline self hypnotizes Feng Buzhi to stop his Abyss World entry 664.
- Feng Buzhi orders the timeline self to be restrained and have his thoughts invaded 664.
- Feng Buzhi recognizes the hypnosis after examining the altered memories and training pattern 664.
Soul Vessel Transformation
After reaching Rank Seven, Feng Buzhi transforms the Soul Vessel Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital 664.
- Completes Building One as he passes through it as a speck of light 664.
- Causes Buildings One through Five to connect and become a single whole 664.
- Uses white radiance to reshape the hospital structure 664.

- Speck of light — The object Feng Buzhi is destined to grab before entering the Abyss World 664.

- Cult Leader Feng — A guiding voice and manifestation associated with Feng Buzhi; he gives instructions but avoids using power freely to prevent affecting the next cultivation stage 664.
- Tiger-man Theo — Mentioned by Feng Buzhi as one of the “interesting things” discovered while watching the past again 664.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Timeline Interference at Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital
A sixth-rank timeline Feng Buzhi travels to Lorenz Psychiatric Hospital to prevent Feng Buzhi from entering the Abyss World. Instead of killing him, he uses hypnosis, because death would automatically pull Feng Buzhi’s consciousness into the Abyss World 664.
Seventh-Rank Breakthrough
Once Feng Buzhi understands the cause of the altered memories and training changes, he acts at the moment the timeline self is disappearing. By contacting and absorbing the dissipating specks of light, he reaches the seventh rank 664.
Path Toward the Eighth Rank
Feng Buzhi identifies Rank Eight as the path of omniscience and omnipotence, tied to advanced immortality. He notes that reaching it will take at least several more years and seeks inspiration by observing the thoughts of those who have read his past 664.
Notable Quotes
“Is that really me?” 664
“I never expected the seventh-rank path, representing doing whatever one pleased, to be achieved just like this.” 664
“After stabilizing it for a while, I should be able to begin stepping into the eighth rank, representing omniscience and omnipotence.” 664
“Reaching omniscience and omnipotence also means attaining higher immortality...” 664
Trivia
