Biology

The Blood Race's humanoid body is a host form rather than its true body. Their actual existence is parasitic blood infused with strange power; once introduced into a host, it merges with the body, synchronizes with the host's soul, and gradually alters both physiology and thought patterns 132.

Bloodline Parasitism

Not all Blood Race members supported the slave system without reservation. A secret Gray Crow Town organization included more than a dozen Blood Race members and protected over one hundred humans; it had also created the Flesh Mine's duel-to-conversion channel more than a century earlier 126.

Conversion into the Witch Clan

Feng Buzhi initially intended to “humanize” the Blood Race by infecting them with Human Race blood. His research instead established that Blood Race blood was parasitic by nature and could not simply be reversed through ordinary human infection 132.

Bloodline Replacement

Feng Buzhi, Anomlay Molten Steel, and Life discovered that the strange-power framework within Blood Race blood could be replaced 133.

• The original Blood Race power can be stripped from its bloodline framework through repeated use of [Repair], preventing the blood from restoring its former state 133.
• Feng Buzhi replaced his own Blood Race power with the power of Flesh Colonization Armor: Strongman, then fused the altered blood with his Human Race bloodline 133.
