Background / History
Tang San is presented as the child of Tang Hao and A Yin, the Blue Silver Emperor. During the conflict surrounding A Yin's sacrifice, he is described as a newborn human–soul beast hybrid who remained unharmed despite attacks striking him; Wang Chen attributes this protection to a strand of Shura God's power within Tang Hao's Slaughter Domain 8 9.
Wang Chen later tells A Yin that her biological child died at birth and that Tang San's body is occupied by another soul. He supports this claim by citing Tang San's abnormal infancy, prior knowledge of plants and meridians, and self-taught cultivation; A Yin accepts the claim after Wang Chen has altered and reinforced her memories 9.
Tang San enters Notting City Junior Soul Master Academy under Yu Xiaogang's guidance. He possesses innate full soul power and twin martial souls, though he primarily displays Blue Silver Grass while concealing the Clear Sky Hammer 24 28. Yu Xiaogang becomes invested in training him as proof of his martial soul theories 21 24.
Appearance
Tang San is a young academy student. His Blue Silver Grass changes after absorbing a Datura Snake soul ring, gaining black patterns and a yellow soul ring 19.
- Martial Soul manifestation: Blue Silver Grass marked with black patterns after obtaining the Datura Snake ring 19.
- Combat injury: Sustains five claw wounds across his chest during his defeat by Xiao Chenyu 19.
- Later condition: Is repeatedly described as carrying a severe odor after being struck by Luo Sanpao's soul skill 22 28.
Personality
Tang San is disciplined in cultivation and strongly attached to the idea of respecting a teacher. Even after suspecting Yu Xiaogang of deliberately humiliating him, he suppresses his resentment, apologizes, and recommits to honoring him as his master 24.
He can also react violently when humiliated or opposed. After losing to Xiao Chenyu, he attempts to use a Tang Sect hidden weapon; later, he threatens Dorm Seven's students with death if they provoke or obstruct him again 19 27.
His confidence in Yu Xiaogang fluctuates sharply. He doubts the master's competence after the Luo Sanpao incidents, but his admiration returns when Yu Xiaogang explains the Sunflower Manual's principles and mimicry cultivation 28 29.

Loss of A Yin's Legacy
