History

Grace Hall was established by Mo Lin after he revealed himself to Ning Fengzhi and declared the formation of a new faction. Its name initially confused Ghost Douluo because it lacked the imposing or violent character expected of a Soul Master organization. 296

The faction’s first major political success came through its arrangement with the Star Luo Empire. In return for Ge Long’s head, Grace Hall received entry into the empire, a marquis title, and Gengxin City. It subsequently gained formal rights to develop the city, recruit personnel, levy taxes, and command local forces. 303 313

Gengxin City became Grace Hall’s central base. Under Mo Lin’s direction, its economy diversified beyond metalwork, while enhanced ore quality and sales of weapons and armor increased its wealth. By this period, Grace Hall had attracted prominent figures including Dugu Bo and members of several notable families. 321 436

During the collapse of the old political order, Grace Hall used magical artifacts, Soul Tools, Title Douluo-led forces, and True Body Possession to rapidly expand across the former Star Luo Empire. After cooperating with Spirit Hall to eliminate evil soul master organizations, it won public support by enforcing strict discipline, avoiding civilian disruption, and publicly punishing officials who had colluded with evil soul masters. 512 550

Following Dai Weisi’s abdication, Grace Hall became the highest governing body of the reformed Star Luo Empire. Its political authority was later reinforced through further territorial expansion and the takeover of Heaven Dou military facilities. 551 576 579

Organization and Governance

Hall Master

Mo Lin serves as Grace Hall’s Hall Master and holds final decision-making authority over all policy. The office is held for life, though the Hall Master may step down voluntarily. 551

Mo Lin’s masked appearance is recognized as a symbol of the Hall Master; participants in the Clear Sky Sect conflict knew the long-haired masked man as Grace Hall’s leader. 390

Elders and senior personnel

Grace Hall’s senior ranks include both Soul Masters and soul beasts. Its elder residences are divided between these two groups. 390

Grace Hall rejects hereditary succession for the Hall Master position. If a successor is needed:

2. Nine representatives from each of five departments vote.
3. The five departments are the Soul Department, Tool Department, Military Department, Commerce Department, and Agriculture Department. 551

Gengxin City Arcane Gate Formation

After an evil soul master attack caused 68 Grace Hall deaths, Mo Lin fixed the central palace of Wind Queen’s Arcane Gate beneath Grace Hall’s main hall. The resulting formation covers Gengxin City and extends beyond its walls. 518

Its students train by integrating newly acquired soul skills into real combat. By the time Mo Lin revisits the training grounds, his former students have reached the Soul Grandmaster rank. 451 509

The organization also promotes artifact research and production through cooperation with craftsmen. Lou Gao and Qiuniu develop devices such as energy barriers capable of containing high-level combat within Grace Hall’s training grounds. 509
