Background

Qiuniu is the eldest son of the auspicious dragon and the leader of the Dragon Sons. Unlike ordinary soul beasts, he follows a distinct cultivation method and has cultivated into a demon; even Titled Douluo initially mistake him for a human soul master. His cultivation is sufficiently high that merely standing near him leaves Dugu Bo, Yue Guan, and Ghost sweating under the pressure of his aura. 211

He and four younger brothers left Soul Beast Island to identify the inheritor of Winged Dragon Gengchen. As Mo Lin's Winged Dragon aura faded while its martial soul remained unused, the group divided into five teams, investigated reports of a dragon roar in major human cities, and traced its origin to Sunset Forest. 212

After learning more of Mo Lin and witnessing his strength, Qiuniu and the Dragon Sons accepted him as a figure to whom they should pledge loyalty. Qiuniu subsequently led his brothers through human cities and towns to learn about human society while trying to avoid open conflict. 244 264

In human form, Qiuniu appears as a refined black-haired man in white robes, with a gentle expression and the bearing of an ancient scholar. 211 423

Although he values peace, Qiuniu is not passive. He directs his brothers to retaliate when necessary, albeit with explicit instructions not to be too harsh, and he swiftly intervenes to rescue civilians trapped beneath collapsed buildings. 264 430

Qiuniu is deeply drawn to Mo Lin's prospect of a less hostile relationship between humans and soul beasts. He does not seek worship or status from humans; he wants a peaceful life in which the two sides can coexist. 353
