Background / History

Wang Sheng entered Notting Academy as one of two work-study students in Qi Dao's first-year class. Despite possessing innate Level 3 soul power, he was looked down upon by classmates because of his background. Qi Dao refused to accept this prejudice and told the other students to settle any contempt through strength instead. 11

Qi Dao's example changed Wang Sheng's outlook and standing at the academy. Wang Sheng credits Qi Dao with inspiring him to cultivate seriously, helping him reach Level 10, and finding people to help him acquire a hundred-year first soul ring. 19

By the time Tang San and Xiao Wu arrive, Wang Sheng is the leader of Dorm Seven. He reveres Qi Dao as the academy's true boss and considers him his greatest benefactor. 19

Personality

Wang Sheng is grateful and loyal, particularly toward Qi Dao. He openly defends Qi Dao's achievements and rejects the idea that low innate soul power determines a person's future. 19 20

He is also blunt. His harsh comments about Yu Xiaogang anger Tang San and damage their friendship, but Wang Sheng does not retract his position or force Tang San to accept it. 20

Relationships
