No Martial Virtue

"Let's do it right here."

In a desolate wilderness to the northwest, Cell was the first to stop, descending to the ground.

Son Gohan had taken off before Cell and pushed himself to his limit to accelerate, but to his surprise, the other had still overtaken him with ease.

Cell looked at the uneven terrain before him and leveled the entire area with a single palm strike, leaving the ground as flat as if it had been crushed by a giant steamroller.

He lifted a nearby mountain, carved it into uniform stone blocks, and with a wave of his hand, the blocks fell into place in perfect order, forming a familiar arena.

"I have recreated the World Martial Arts Tournament ring. I will kill you all using the rules you are most accustomed to," Cell said triumphantly.

"Did anyone ask you?" Son Gohan was speechless.

Cell was truly a king of posturing; even if you ignored him, he could find a way to show off anytime, anywhere.

It was no wonder, really. With the Saiyan cells of both Son Goku and Vegeta existing within him, it was hard for him to keep a low profile.

"Then let's begin."

Son Gohan wanted to gauge Cell's strength and see how large the gap was between his own full-power Super Saiyan 2 state and his opponent.

As long as he couldn't kill me with a single punch, there was hope for victory.

"No rush. Let's wait until Son Goku and the others arrive. Otherwise, if there's no one around to admire it, how am I supposed to kill you?" Cell continued to posture.

If I say another word to you, I'm a dog, Son Gohan cursed fiercely in his heart, turning his head away and refusing to look at him any longer.

Before long, Vegeta arrived first, and shortly after, the rest of the group reached the side of the arena.

"Alright, I declare the Cell Games officially open!"

"I'll go first!" Son Gohan had been holding back his frustration for a while; he secretly pulled a Senzu Bean from his pocket and held it in his mouth.

This way, he wouldn't have to worry about being unable to heal if he took heavy damage during the fight.

Cell shook his head and said slowly, "I don't think I made myself clear. All of you come at me together. I'm going to take on ten."

"Huh?"

Son Gohan counted; there were only nine people here. Cell was still posturing—was there no end to it?

Whoosh!

Just then, the Supreme Kai and Kibito appeared in the distance, standing atop a massive rock and watching the scene.

"Who are those people? Why do they give me such an uneasy feeling?" Piccolo frowned. As he looked toward them, he felt inferior.

"The Supreme Kai!"

Son Gohan was pleasantly surprised. It must have been Cell's evil energy, which rivaled that of Majin Buu, that had attracted them.

This was perfect. Now he could go to the Sacred World of the Kai, release the Old Kai from fifteen generations ago, and perhaps find a way to contact Whis and Beerus.

Son Gohan felt a sense of relief after a long struggle. Once he established a connection with the Angel and received training from Whis, his cultivation speed would increase significantly.

"Su... Supreme Kai!" Piccolo was dumbfounded. Sweat dripped down his face, and his voice turned hoarse.

Above the Supreme Kais of the four galaxies was the Grand Kai, but above him stood a deity of even higher status: the Supreme Kai.

"No wonder I felt so suppressed. The dimensional gap between him and me is too vast." Piccolo had merged with the Earth's Guardian, and there was an insurmountable chasm between him and the Supreme Kai.

"Those two don't seem like much," Krillin remarked.

For those without divine status, the pressure brought by the Supreme Kai was imperceptible.

"Supreme Kai, that green monster is the source of the evil aura." Kibito's expression was grave. Feeling it at close range, the oppressive force radiating from Cell was even stronger.

"Those Earthlings on the other side seem to want to fight him."

"Not just Earthlings, but also Saiyans, Namekians, and Three-Eyed People," the Supreme Kai noted solemnly. There were almost no races in the universe he did not recognize.

He couldn't understand where these people, whose strength appeared average, found the courage to wage war against that monster, so he decided to observe for a while.

"It seems those two strangers have no intention of joining this battle." Cell glanced at them leisurely, not giving them a second thought.

He didn't recognize the Supreme Kai, but he could clearly read the combat power of the two individuals: the white-haired youth was equivalent to his own strength in his perfect form, and the other was even weaker.

Son Gohan didn't pay them any mind either; with the strength of the Supreme Kai and his attendant, they wouldn't be able to help much anyway.

"Cell, you said it yourself—one against ten. We won't be standing on ceremony!"

With that, Son Gohan was the first to transform into a Super Saiyan 2. His golden aura exploded outward, lightning crackled around his body, and the lock of golden hair on his forehead swayed in the wind.

Trunks and Vegeta transformed into Super Saiyans simultaneously, two golden auras shooting straight into the clouds.

Although they lacked the signature lightning of the Super Saiyan 2 state, their internal energy had reached a critical point.

Son Goku stopped holding back. With a loud shout, he instantly broke through to Super Saiyan 2. His golden aura flickered slightly; it was clear he had just reached this level and his control over his energy was still unstable.

"Kakarot!" Vegeta roared in anger, having been surpassed yet again.

Piccolo did not transform, but his white aura erupted silently, heavy as a boulder, its intensity second only to Son Gohan's.

Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and Krillin channeled their lifelong martial arts cultivation, their four condensed auras spreading out with power that could not be underestimated.

Nine powerful auras shot into the heavens, intertwining and colliding. The clouds in the sky were torn to shreds, and the space was filled with immense energy.

The entire wilderness trembled violently, and several mountains in the distance suddenly collapsed.

Atop the giant rock, the divine robes of the Supreme Kai and Kibito whipped in the gale, both of them staring fixedly at the nine auras.

"How can people of the lower realms possess such powerful strength?" Kibito's eyes were filled with shock; his understanding of reality had been completely overturned.

"There are actually three people whose strength is far above mine..." The Supreme Kai's heart was already churning with massive waves.

In his long life, he had known of the existence of Super Saiyans, but he had never seen such powerful ones.

The Supreme Kai had always believed himself to be the highest deity in the universe; he was currently unaware of the existence of Gods of Destruction or Angels.

"Cell, we aren't planning on talking about martial virtue today. We're going to beat you to death even if it means ganging up on you!" Son Gohan suddenly had the illusion that his side wasn't so weak after all.

"Ganging up on me, are you?"

Cell used some unknown, overly dramatic vocal technique. He looked at the nine people opposite him and revealed a mysterious smile.

Cell crossed his arms over his chest, and his tail suddenly swelled. Like a hen laying eggs, he flicked his tail and began spitting out blue objects.

Once these things hit the ground, Son Goku and the others saw clearly that they were all Cell Jrs.

Nine Cell Jrs were spat out in total, their height reaching only to Cell's knees.

"Cell, you're being far too dishonorable! What's the meaning of creating so many Cell Jrs? Do you want to gang up on us?" Son Gohan accused him righteously.

"You disappoint me so much. I have no desire to even make a move," Cell said with a sneer, as if watching a boring farce.

"I have Saiyan cells in my body. I know you can become even stronger. Let me be the one to draw out your full potential!"
