Vegeta returned to normal, veins bulging on his forehead. His battle suit was torn in several places, and the exposed wounds automatically healed after he swallowed a Senzu Bean.

The pride of the Saiyan prince, a member of the warrior race, had been crushed beneath Cell Jr.'s feet. Now, only a thoroughly satisfying victory could save him.

"Kakarot, fuse with me!"

Vegeta forced the words through clenched teeth, as though saying that simple sentence had drained every bit of his strength.

"I understand!" Son Goku's eyes lit up as overwhelming joy struck him out of nowhere.

Ever since the two had learned the Metamoran Fusion Dance in the Other World, they had never fused even once.

Vegeta had been extremely resistant to it, so Son Goku had never expected him to suggest it himself.

"I finally get to see Gogeta, the strongest in the dimension, with my own eyes!" Son Gohan was even more excited than the two people involved.

"Gohan, can Saiyans fuse like us Namekians?"

Piccolo had thought Son Goku and Vegeta were planning to sacrifice one of themselves to defeat Cell.

Krillin and the others also looked over. Could they still be revived with the Dragon Balls afterward?

"No, Uncle Piccolo. The two of them can separate again after they fuse," Son Gohan explained to everyone.

"Fusion? You mean the two of you can surpass me just by combining your powers?" Cell sneered, as if he had heard the funniest joke in the world.

He had devoured nine Super Saiyan-level androids, and with Dr. Gero's cutting-edge science, he had achieved his current strength.

Two ants fusing together, and they thought they could defy the heavens?

"I'll stand right here and wait for you to fuse. Then I'll crush that pathetic fantasy with my own hands and enjoy the looks of despair on your faces." Cell spoke arrogantly.

The Frieza cells within him had carved the arrogance and cruelty of an apex predator into his very bones.

"Cell, you bastard, you've completely pissed me off!" Flames of rage burned in Vegeta's eyes.

He stood side by side with Son Goku. They adjusted their ki to become perfectly identical, their movements synchronized as though they were looking into a mirror. On the final beat, their fingertips met with perfect precision.

A blinding white light erupted. The radiance spread from their fingertips and shot into the sky in an instant, completely illuminating the dim heavens.

The dazzling light forced everyone nearby to shut their eyes, as though dozens of Tien Shinhans had unleashed Solar Flare at the same time.

The white light receded, revealing a completely new figure. He had a handsome, sharp-featured face and wore a black sleeveless battle vest. His posture was tall and straight, his muscles sleek and defined, and his aura was overwhelmingly imposing.

"I'm neither Son Goku nor Vegeta. My name is Gogeta." A roguish smile rested on his face.

"So cool!" Son Gohan thought he was a hundred times cooler than he had looked on TV.

"A man with invincible written all over his face!" Krillin leaped high into the air and shouted in delight.

"Th-this is what Goku and Vegeta look like after fusing?" Tien Shinhan stared in disbelief. He had no idea how many times stronger this ki was than theirs had been before.

"We've won..."

Piccolo's tense body relaxed at once. With this man standing before them, he could not imagine how they could lose.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

Gogeta adjusted to his body and performed a set of military combat moves. An extreme arrogance curled at the corners of his mouth. "This is incredible. It's even stronger than I imagined!"

Supreme Kai and Kibito, standing on a distant rock, had had their understanding overturned countless times. As gods, their lofty sense of superiority had long since been shattered beyond recognition.

"What kind of ability is this?"

Kibito had always looked down on those from the lower world, but this time, he felt that he was the country bumpkin.

"It seems to be the Metamoran Fusion Dance," Supreme Kai said uncertainly.

He truly had not expected this Fusion Dance to be so powerful.

If Grand Kai had mastered this divine technique when he led them against Majin Buu five million years ago, perhaps the outcome would have been completely different.

"Stop playing tricks!"

Cell began to panic. He could clearly sense that the other man's ki was unfathomably deep, surpassing his by countless levels.

Whoosh!

He could no longer stand still. Using Instant Transmission, he appeared behind Gogeta, his fist carrying incomparably violent power as it smashed toward the back of Gogeta's head.

His full-power punch struck only an afterimage. Gogeta appeared above Cell and lightly kicked him in the face.

"Bang!"

Half of Cell's face instantly twisted out of shape. Like an out-of-control cannonball, he crashed viciously into the arena, shattering the entire platform.

"Too slow." Gogeta gently shook his head, delivering his assessment in a lazy tone.

Before the dust rising from the arena could settle, Cell gritted his teeth and said nothing. He transformed into a green bolt of lightning and lunged at Gogeta.

His attacks came so fast that his fists and kicks could not be seen. Like a raging storm, they all poured down upon Gogeta as he vented his fury with all his might.

"Special Beam Cannon!"

Cell shouted angrily. Terrifying energy gathered at his fingertips, and a spiraling beam wreathed in lightning struck its target with precision.

"Boom!"

A massive explosion rang out, and smoke and dust filled the air, obscuring Gogeta's figure.

"Damn it, you dared look down on me. You're dead for sure this time!" Cell smiled cruelly, his chest heaving as he gasped for breath. Clearly, that string of attacks had taken everything he had.

As the smoke dispersed, Gogeta remained suspended in midair, lying on his back. He slowly lowered his head and looked at Cell. "That didn't hurt at all!"

There was not a single wound on his body. Not even the hem of his clothes had been dirtied.

Gogeta swung his right arm and rolled his neck, speaking casually. "Sorry, I was still getting used to this body just now. I'm ready now."

Whoosh!

Gogeta vanished from the air and appeared before Cell, driving a fist into his abdomen.

"Urgh..."

Cell screamed in agony, spewing a huge mouthful of bodily fluid. His body bent at a ninety-degree angle, and his eyeballs nearly popped out of their sockets.

Gogeta then grabbed his ankle, swung him over his head, and slammed him viciously into the ground.

"Bang!"

A massive crater dozens of meters wide collapsed at the point of impact, and countless shards of rock sprayed into the sky. The huge black wings on Cell's back snapped apart, spilling large amounts of viscous fluid.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Like a punching bag, Cell was swung around and smashed down again and again. He struggled desperately, yet he could not even shake free of Gogeta's grip.

Kibito was too stunned to speak. He felt like he had not woken up yet. Was that truly a level of combat power a human could attain?

"Wonderful!"

Supreme Kai could not help cheering as well. He had come to Earth prepared to die, never expecting things to develop like this.

"S-so amazing!" Krillin held Chiaotzu's hand as the two spun around excitedly.

"I thought we were dead for sure this time." Yamcha sat down directly on the ground and began thinking about where he could go relax tomorrow.

"Gogeta doesn't seem to be using his full strength. What is he thinking?" Piccolo frowned. With such an enormous difference in power, Cell should have been eliminated long ago.

"Dad, Uncle Vegeta, you two aren't going to... are you?" Son Gohan also had a bad feeling.
