Searching for Broly

Upon hearing this name, Old Kai's body stiffened instantly. His face carried a trace of fear as he recalled the scene of his own sealing.

"You know of the God of Destruction... Lord Beerus?"

"I heard it from King Cold." Son Gohan lied without a blush or a racing heart, shifting the source directly onto a dead man.

"Ancestor, what kind of god is a God of Destruction? How have I never heard of one?" Supreme Kai Shin asked curiously upon hearing their conversation.

"Just as there are gods like us who create planets and life, there are also gods who do the opposite and destroy them. That is Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction."

Old Kai regained some composure, stood up, and clasped his hands behind his back. He gazed out at the cosmic starry sky, seemingly lost in memory.

"Does destruction have any meaning?" Supreme Kai Shin asked, puzzled.

"The duty of a God of Destruction is to destroy planets that have aged and stagnated, as well as evil existences that hinder the development of civilization."

"It is just like a gardener pruning branches; it clears space for new life and maintains the average standard of humanity across the universe."

When Old Kai reached this point, his tone trembled slightly, carrying a hint of helplessness. "But Lord Beerus's destruction is usually just a whim."

"The only thing we can do is not to provoke him."

Vegeta had been listening from the side for a long time. He felt the name God of Destruction Beerus sounded familiar, but he just couldn't place it.

"God of Destruction Beerus..." he muttered to himself, as images from his childhood suddenly flashed through his mind.

Beerus had once stepped on King Vegeta's head simply because the latter had hidden away the most comfortable pillow in the universe, offering him only the second-best one.

Vegeta had witnessed this scene with his own eyes. He was furious and rushed forward to stop Beerus, only to be pinned to the ground by the god's overwhelming aura, unable to move.

This had left a deep, traumatic shadow on his young heart.

"So it was that terrifying guy..." Vegeta still felt a lingering fear.

"Gohan, why are you looking for Lord Beerus?"

Old Kai was very confused. Others avoided the God of Destruction like the plague, terrified of being implicated, yet this kid was actively seeking him out.

"I heard that Lord Beerus is the most powerful deity in the universe. I have admired him for a long time and wanted to meet him in person. I even prepared many delicacies from Earth, hoping he would taste them."

Son Gohan recited the excuse he had prepared long ago.

"Your idea is dangerous." Old Kai's demeanor shifted, and he warned him sternly.

"Lord Beerus is a god with terrifying power and a volatile temper. It is best not to have any contact with him. One slip and Earth could be destroyed, and no one would be able to stop him."

"Is he really that strong?" Son Goku looked eager to try after hearing this.

"A deity that even the Supreme Kai fears so much..." Piccolo felt this was beyond his imagination.

Son Gohan hadn't expected such a strong reaction from Old Kai, so he retreated to a secondary plan. "I can send the food to the Sacred World of the Kai, and Lord Beerus can taste it there."

"Do you want to see me get sealed away again!?" Old Kai roared in anger.

"Then is there any way to meet Lord Beerus?" Son Gohan asked earnestly.

"Forget it, there is no way. Lord Beerus likes to sleep often, and no one dares to disturb him." Old Kai extinguished his hope directly.

"In the past, the God of Destruction and the Supreme Kai would meet once every thousand years to hold a conference."

"But ever since I was sealed by Lord Beerus during one of those meetings, that tradition has been abandoned."

"Later Supreme Kais didn't even know the name of the God of Destruction. It is obvious that Lord Beerus found them troublesome and intentionally avoided them."

Old Kai looked at Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito.

"Then can you contact Whis?"

Son Gohan decided to ask the main person directly. If it weren't for the Angel, who would want to deal with a God of Destruction?

"King Cold even knew about that?" Old Kai's eyes were filled with suspicion.

Son Gohan stood there with an innocent expression, indicating he didn't know how that person had found out either.

"Don't even think about Whis. His rank is too high; he only answers to Lord Beerus."

Son Gohan was desperate. He really wanted to shout: How did you even serve as a Supreme Kai if you can't contact anyone?

"Then do you know where Beerus Planet is specifically? I just want to pay my respects from afar." Son Gohan still wouldn't give up.

"That is the private territory of the God of Destruction. Without his permission, no god or human dares to enter."

"Most importantly, I don't know where it is either. The previous meetings were always held in the Sacred World of the Kai." Old Kai said quite frankly.

It was over. There was absolutely no hope. They would just have to wait for them to find their way here after Beerus woke up.

"Lord Old Kai, can you help me find a planet on the edge of the universe? The environment there is very harsh, and only two Saiyans live there."

Since he couldn't find Whis, Son Gohan decided to bring Broly to Earth to deal with the potential crises ahead.

Old Kai's clairvoyance could see beauties all over the universe; finding a planet should be a piece of cake.

As long as he had the specific location, Son Gohan could focus his energy on that direction and use Instant Transmission to reach Planet Vampa.

"Are there other Saiyans in the universe besides us?" Vegeta asked, puzzled.

"You only know how to trouble this old man. When are you bringing those beauties over?" Old Kai pouted in dissatisfaction.

"Once you finish unlocking the potential for my father and the others, I will bring them over immediately."

"Gohan, who are these beauties you're talking about? Can you let me see them too?" Krillin leaned in with a grin.

"Beauties from other planets. I'll introduce you next time." Son Gohan brushed him off.

He was afraid Krillin would misunderstand if he knew the truth, as he didn't actually intend to bring Android 18 and the others over.

"Planet Vampa, it should be this small planet orbiting the 94th star." Old Kai was very efficient, pointing in a direction with his finger.

Son Gohan closed his eyes and carefully sensed the powerful aura there. Broly didn't know how to hide his ki yet.

"Found it!"

With a whoosh, Son Gohan vanished from where he stood.

"Young people are always in such a rush." Old Kai shook his head.

"Whose potential should be unlocked next?"

The surface of Planet Vampa was covered in desert. Violent winds whipped up dust, blotting out the sky. This environment resulted in a severe lack of vegetation and water resources.

"Cough, cough!"

As soon as Son Gohan landed, he choked. The air here was terrible.

Suddenly, he felt as if he were being watched by a prehistoric beast, and the hair on his body stood on end.

A shirtless young man with bulging muscles stood nearby. He wore animal skins on his lower body and a collar around his neck.

"As expected of the Legendary Saiyan, the pressure is immense!" Son Gohan looked at him with eyes full of appreciation.

"Hmph!"

A low growl echoed, and the ground beneath Broly's feet cracked. Without a word, he swung his sandbag-sized fist, which tore through the air with a shrill whistle, and smashed it toward him.
