Background

Yu Ke is a collateral descendant of the declining Luo River Yu Clan. Although the Yu Clan once produced the sword cultivator Yu Chuan and helped found Great Zhou, it had gone roughly four centuries without producing another True Person; collateral members such as Yu Ke received little family support. He entered the Divine Firmament Sect as an Outer Disciple and spent years cultivating with limited resources. 4

A modern-Earth transmigrator, Yu Ke inherited roughly eighteen years of the original body's memories.
