Purification and Rebirth of the Sunwell

In the end, Alliance envoy Duke Gregor Lescovar stormed out of the Sunstrider Court, refusing to continue attending the Sun King's coronation ceremony.

The new Sun King, Kael'thas Sunstrider, did not mind in the slightest. He had already achieved his goal, and it made no difference even if the Alliance envoy returned directly.

After the coronation ceremony, Sun King Kael'thas Sunstrider announced that Grand Astromancer Solarian would become the new queen of the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas.

Immediately afterward, invitations were sent to representatives of the various powers of Azeroth, inviting them to witness the purification of the Sunwell.

The leaders of every race arrived at the sacred land of the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas, Quel'Danas Isle, where the Sunwell was located. In the original history, they had set foot here to deal with the summoned Deceiver Kil'jaeden. This time, however, they had come to witness the rebirth of the Sunwell together.

Upon entering Sunwell Plateau, they found the arcane energy there so dense it was almost tangible. Even someone naturally insulated from arcane power would awaken an arcane talent if they stayed here long enough. Having bathed in the Sunwell's radiance for thousands of years, the Blood Elves possessed the greatest affinity for the arcane, second only to the magic-guarding Blue Dragons.

Those present, including Warchief Thrall, had once witnessed the even more powerful Well of Eternity on Mount Hyjal. Unfortunately, its arcane energy had all been absorbed by the World Tree above it, so this was their first time experiencing the Sunwell's vast arcane power.
