Background / History

Uther was already a devout priest of the Holy Light when he encountered Lister before the latter's duel with Joel. He tried to stop Joel from escalating the dispute, invoking the Holy Light's teachings of respect, perseverance, and compassion while insisting that the land had no need for innocent blood 6.

He travelled with Lister to Dalaran, where Lister offered him a place in his lodgings. Uther accepted with cheerful confidence and became Lister's roommate 9. Though elven priests advised him not to preach in the city, he remained determined to follow his teacher's path 10.
