Background / History

Kael'thas is the son of King Anasterian and heir to Quel'Thalas. He treats the High Elves of Silver Crown Forest as kin despite their separation from Quel'Thalas, rebuking Rommath for dismissing them as traitors. After hearing of Lister's victory over Joel, he sends Astaroth to contact the boy. 8

When Lister awakens as an archmage and gains Ebony Chill's recognition, Kael'thas recognizes the event's significance.
