"Damn it, we've been exposed." Lu Mingyu had originally wanted to keep his superpower hidden, but who would have thought it would be captured by surveillance footage? He felt a sense of fear. What if the people here found out he wasn't from this world—or that people from his world had created them?
Just as he was thinking, Wong grabbed Doctor Strange and said, "What are you doing? Why aren't you leaving yet?"
Doctor Strange looked at Lu Mingyu and came up with an idea. "None of the Avengers members are at Avengers Tower right now, so as long as we wake Tony up, our situation won't be exposed. Besides, this tower is his!"
Wong nodded. Before he could do anything, Lu Mingyu turned into lightning, made a round trip, and instantly splashed red wine over Tony's head. Wong stared at Lu Mingyu in shock. "Hey, I have water here, and you splashed him with red wine."
"And it's particularly expensive. Yeah, that's all I can say." Stephen nodded seriously and looked at Wong. "I used to only drink a glass every few years. Trust me."
Wong ignored Doctor Strange's muttering. To him, Doctor Strange was simply someone who liked talking to himself and getting into trouble. Even though Doctor Strange had driven off Dormammu, Wong still thought so.
Lu Mingyu said, "I already splashed it on him. What else can I do? Let's see if he can wake up."
The alarm grew more and more distinct. Afraid that someone would review the surveillance footage, Lu Mingyu said to Jarvis, "Um, Jarvis, can you delete all the surveillance footage?"
"No. I need to await the sir's instructions."
"Damn it!" Lu Mingyu's face darkened. It seemed he could only rely on his Speed Force now! Blue lightning surged up in an instant, and a powerful sonic boom suddenly erupted around them. Wong looked at the lightning in Lu Mingyu's eyes and said, "My god, what kind of superpower is that?"
As soon as Wong said that, Lu Mingyu transformed into lightning and shot out. Everything around him moved in slow motion as Lu Mingyu ran at incredible speed in search of the surveillance footage. He searched many rooms and also discovered the Avengers' rooms in the tower. Looking at Vision's room, he said, "Oh my god, this guy really likes Scarlet Witch."
Lu Mingyu put down the photograph of Scarlet Witch in Vision's room, then left the spot in a flash of lightning. Afterimages continuously appeared behind him, while the lightning in his eyes grew increasingly obvious, as if it could burst from them at any moment.
A streak of blue lightning swept rapidly through every room in Avengers Tower, leaving afterimages in its wake. Lu Mingyu ran into a room where several generals were preparing for battle. The alarm had gone off, so they were about to begin fighting.
If Lu Mingyu wasn't mistaken, one of the generals had forgotten to zip up his pants. He ran over and hurriedly used a file in his hand to cover that embarrassing area. Lu Mingyu vanished in an instant. The blue lightning abruptly disappeared from the spot, turning into a long trail of light that moved with his body.
Lu Mingyu had found ways to rush into practically every room in Avengers Tower, but he still hadn't found a single surveillance room. He frowned, unable to understand why he couldn't find the surveillance footage here.
He turned to leave, but suddenly remembered something. He recalled that when Tony had connected power to Avengers Tower, it had been underwater. Although he didn't know exactly which part of Avengers Tower—or which symbol—had been connected, it was the only option. The problem now was how he could rush underwater. That was a problem.
The moment Lu Mingyu rushed out of Avengers Tower, he suddenly remembered that the streets outside Avengers Tower also had surveillance cameras. He decisively chose to remain inside Avengers Tower. He had no way of solving this problem anymore. Lu Mingyu returned to Tony's room. The blue lightning vanished, and everything resumed its previous motion.
In another room, the general awkwardly looked at the file covering his zipper. Before anyone noticed, he zipped up and then organized the "battle." Tony was half-asleep and half-drunk in bed. He touched the red wine on his body and muttered, "I'm drinking even in my dreams. Looks like I really need to sleep."
As Tony said this, he was about to collapse onto his bed. Wong and Stephen simultaneously splashed the water in their hands onto Tony. Tony sprang upright as if he had been electrocuted. He shouted in alarm, "My god, are you crazy?!"
Cold water ran down Tony's face, leaving his face and chest soaked. He looked at Lu Mingyu and the others. "Are you drunk? Why are you splashing both water and red wine all over me?!"
"Um, something happened while you were unconscious. Well, it wasn't exactly a little something, but it should be a small matter to you. For us, though, it's a major issue. Yeah, that's about it," Stephen explained, then added, "It's just a tiny little matter. Once it's dealt with, you can go back to sleep. It's fine, right? Lu, right, Rogers."
"Rogers?" Wong repeated. "Can you explain it clearly? Just tell Tony what you need him to do. There's no need to waste so much time."
Lu Mingyu slapped his forehead. He couldn't understand why superheroes were so good at making simple things sound complicated. "Tony, here's the situation. We need you to deactivate the alarm and delete the surveillance footage, or all of us will be exposed. Mordo came earlier—the darkened sorcerer—and we fought him. But Jarvis didn't sound the alarm then. I'm guessing Mordo blocked the signal, similar to the short blade Quicksilver had when we first met him. When Mordo escaped, Jarvis suddenly sounded the alarm. This will expose us. Please help us."
Tony looked at Lu Mingyu and said, "After saying all that, what exactly do you want me to help with? I remember your last sentence was, 'Please help us.'"
Tony exaggeratedly mimicked Lu Mingyu's expression when he had begged for help. Lu Mingyu was truly getting a little dizzy. "Delete the surveillance footage and deactivate the alarm. Those two things. Yes, just those two things."
"You should've said so earlier. Easy." Tony called out, "Jarvis."
"What is it, sir?"
"Deactivate the alarm and delete the surveillance footage."
"Sir, from what time to what time should the surveillance footage be deleted?"
Tony thought for a moment. "Today's. Delete all of it."
"Understood, sir. I have deleted all surveillance footage from today and deactivated the alarm. I have also explained the alarm as the result of an experimental failure."
Tony spread his hands. "See? Problem solved."
