Bibi Dong was formerly Qian Xunji’s disciple. Twenty-three years before her journey into the past with Yang Xing, Qian Xunji manipulated her relationship with Yu Xiaogang, imprisoned her, and sexually assaulted her. Qian Renxue was born as a consequence of the assault 213 214.

During the temporal journey, Bibi Dong overhears Qian Xunji claim that he used an illusion to make her see Xiaogang’s good qualities. He describes destroying her romantic attachments as a way to redirect her toward cultivation. The revelation leaves her questioning the origin of her feelings for Xiaogang 214.

Bibi Dong later devoured Qian Xunji and rose to the position of Pope. After taking power, she destroyed the secret chamber associated with her assault.
