The barrier also lets him withstand the combined pressure of Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing for several minutes, but Xiao Wu's Waist Bow can break it after Zhu Zhuqing creates an opening. 120

White Tiger Fierce Light Wave

Dai Mubai uses White Tiger Fierce Light Wave during his duel with Ning Rongrong, blasting craters into Shrek Academy's training ground. 35

During the individual combat assessment, he charges an enhanced Fierce Light Wave after Ning Rongrong provokes him. She spatially exchanges their positions, causing the attack to shatter his Body Barrier and strike him directly. 117

Dai Mubai introduces Zhao Wuji's Rank 76 Soul Sage strength to Tang San, Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong before their final entrance test. He is shocked when Ning Rongrong uses spatial displacement to evade Zhao Wuji's attack. 27

Conflict with Ning Rongrong

After Flender criticizes Ning Rongrong, Dai Mubai mocks her as a spoiled young miss without real strength and threatens to “teach her a lesson.” His argument escalates into a private duel after Ning Rongrong confronts him. 34

Dai Mubai attacks with his Rank 37 soul power, Evil-Eyed White Tiger possession, and White Tiger Fierce Light Wave. Ning Rongrong evades and disrupts him until Li Yusong ends the fight by striking Dai Mubai away and attempting to punish Ning Rongrong as well. 35

Yang Xing's Intervention

Dai Mubai realizes that Yang Xing is Ning Rongrong's master and fears retaliation for his threats and attempted assault. He is ignored at first while Yang Xing confronts Li Yusong and approaches Xiao Wu. 38 42

Seeking protection, Dai Mubai falsely portrays Yang Xing as an aggressor to Zhao Wuji, inciting the Soul Sage to attack. Yang Xing effortlessly defeats Zhao Wuji, leaving Dai Mubai panicked. 43 44 45

After initially leaving, Yang Xing returns specifically to settle Ning Rongrong's grievance and slaps Dai Mubai hard enough to send him spinning through the air and knock out two teeth. 46

Soto Great Soul Arena Battle

During the Shrek Seven Monsters' battle against the Huangdou Team in the Central Main Soul Arena, Dai Mubai fights alongside Zhu Zhuqing against Yu Tianheng and Osler. Their cooperation prevents the opposing pair from overwhelming the team while Tang San, Ma Hongjun, and Ning Rongrong direct the larger battle. 105

Ning Rongrong's Radiant Bird and Wind Empress Qimen ultimately turn the battle in Shrek's favor, allowing the team to defeat the stronger Huangdou Team and earn Silver Soul Badges. 105

Individual Combat Assessment

During Shrek Academy's round-robin combat assessment, Dai Mubai faces Ning Rongrong. He uses White Tiger Body Barrier and White Tiger Vajra Transformation to resist her elemental attacks, but Ning Rongrong's mobility prevents him from closing in. 116 117

After Ning Rongrong insults his strength, Dai Mubai loses his composure and launches an enhanced White Tiger Fierce Light Wave. Ning Rongrong spatially swaps their positions, making him take the full impact of his own attack before overwhelming him with earth, ice, and fire attacks. Flender intervenes and declares Ning Rongrong the winner. 117

Group Challenge Assessment

Dai Mubai advances from the individual round-robin phase with three wins and two losses. In the group challenge, he faces Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing, who work together to test whether he can prove himself worthy of pursuing Zhu Zhuqing. 120

Although Dai Mubai holds the two girls at a stalemate for three minutes with his Body Barrier, Vajra Transformation, and repeated Fierce Light Waves, Xiao Wu's Teleportation and Waist Bow shatter his defense and force him to his knees. His defeat ends his group-challenge run immediately. 120

Dai Mubai later joins Xiao Wu to challenge Tang San. Their coordinated attacks overcome Tang San's Blue Silver Grass control and hidden weapons, with Dai Mubai providing direct frontal suppression while Xiao Wu attacks from unpredictable angles. 120

In the final challenge, Dai Mubai, Tang San, and Xiao Wu fight Ning Rongrong together for fifteen minutes. Tang San eventually catches her ankle with Blue Silver Grass, enabling Dai Mubai and Xiao Wu to land simultaneous finishing attacks. 120

Rift with Zhu Zhuqing

After accompanying Ma Hongjun into Suotuo City while Ma Hongjun relieves his Evil Fire, Dai Mubai returns to Shrek Academy and encounters Zhu Zhuqing. His guilty reaction convinces her that he may have participated, and she ignores his insistence that he merely waited outside. 142

Dai Mubai spends the night searching for Zhu Zhuqing after she leaves the academy to seek Yang Xing. When she returns, she evades his attempt to grab her shoulders and disregards his anxious questioning. 152

As Zhu Zhuqing focuses on preparing for her Secret Realm Inheritance Ring trial, she shuts him out again. Humiliated by her indifference, Dai Mubai leaves after threatening that he may eventually abandon his pursuit of her. 153

Despite this, he approaches Zhu Zhuqing during Shrek Academy's journey to Heaven Dou City and offers her an osmanthus cake. She tells him to leave. After their arrival, he tries to impress her by recounting his fight with Heaven Dou Royal Academy students, but receives only indifferent responses. 178 179 186

Fierce God Team Battle

During Shrek's higher-rank spirit battle against the Fierce God Team, Dai Mubai confronts its captain, Meng Li, head-on. He activates White Tiger Vajra Transformation and fires a White Tiger Fierce Light Wave that scorches Meng Li's shoulder, but the stronger opponent tears through Tang San's restraint and overpowers Dai Mubai in their exchange. 183

Ning Rongrong's enhancements and spatial battlefield control help shift the fight in Shrek's favor. The team wins in under a minute, with five Fierce God Team members killed and the remaining two disabled. 183 185

Heaven Dou Royal Academy Conflict

After arriving at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, Dai Mubai explores the campus with Tang San, Oscar, and Ma Hongjun. They encounter Fourth Prince Xue Beng and other students, who insult them; the Shrek boys defeat the group in a brief fight. Dai Mubai later boasts about his part in it to Zhu Zhuqing, while Xiao Wu points out that fighting academy students before formally enrolling could endanger Shrek's position. 186

Xue Beng returns with Prince Xue Xing and Dugu Bo during Shrek's meeting with the Education Committee, seeking retaliation. When Dai Mubai moves angrily toward them, Dugu Bo's gaze causes him to convulse and collapse. Committee member Zhi Lin uses his Sky Azure Vine to pull Dai Mubai back to safety. 190 191

Dai Mubai witnesses Ning Rongrong confront Dugu Bo and then sees Yang Xing incapacitate the Poison Douluo with ease. Once Prince Xue Xing's interference is resolved, Shrek's merger with Heaven Dou Royal Academy proceeds, making Dai Mubai a student of the latter. 192 195 198
