Shrek Academy is a ten-thousand-year institution regarded as the continent's foremost academy. Its influence extends beyond education: it has produced numerous Titled and Super Douluo, possesses deep foundations and continent-wide connections, and is treated as a strategic force by major powers. Its protection under Limit Douluo Mu En was a major deterrent to the Sun Moon Empire. 10 11

Prior to the Holy Spirit Cult's offensive, Shrek appeared outwardly peaceful despite Mu En's worsening health and Xuan Zi's self-imposed confinement following earlier losses among inner-court disciples. The Tang Sect also resumed recruitment within the academy, drawing students with the prospect of soul tool instruction. 12 13

Holy Spirit Cult Raid

The Holy Spirit Cult designated Shrek as a key target, placing its direct disciples, core disciples, and gifted elite soul masters on an elimination list. Long Wushang personally led the operation, supported by Long Xiaoyao and a force including numerous evil soul masters and Titled Douluo. 6 7 17

The assault began with the Dark Sacred Dragon covering Shrek City in darkness while synchronized soul tool artillery shattered the city's defensive formation. Mu En transformed into the Light Sacred Dragon to shield the academy and civilian districts, but the bombardment successfully pinned him in the sky. 13 14

Infiltrators attacked the outer court, dormitories, teaching districts, and evacuation routes while Titled Douluo restrained Shrek's senior staff. The attackers deliberately focused on the younger generation, aiming to create a long-term gap in Shrek's talent pool rather than simply defeat its strongest members. 14 15

Shrek suffered severe losses: more than half of the outer court's teachers and students were killed or injured, nine of twelve outer-court school buildings collapsed, the western city wall fell, and more than eighty percent of the city-defense army became casualties. 24

Sea God's Light and Withdrawal

After Huo Yuhao was critically wounded by Long Wushang and the academy's defenses neared collapse, Mu En used Sea God's Light. The divine radiance suppressed the Original Sin Demon Puppet, purified evil soul masters caught within its range, and stabilized the injuries of Shrek's surviving teachers and students. 22 23 24

The Holy Spirit Cult withdrew into the Star Dou Great Forest after the activation of Sea God's Light. Though Shrek survived, its outer court was nearly destroyed, its inner-court defenses had been breached, and its hidden divine trump card had been revealed to hostile forces. 24 25

Reconstruction and Succession

With Mu En near death, Shrek prioritized saving survivors, rebuilding its defenses, and preventing a second surprise attack. Mu En appointed Xuan Zi to lead Sea God Pavilion under an Elders' Council, sought a half-year defensive alliance with Er Ming and the Haotian Sect, and ordered equal support for the soul tool department. 26 27

Mu En later died, dissolving into golden motes absorbed by the Golden Ancient Tree. A Light Sacred Dragon manifested above Shrek City and released golden rain that healed the wounded and extinguished fires across the ruined city. 28
