Background / History

Long Xiaoyao is the Dragon Emperor Douluo, the Dark Sacred Dragon bearer of the Hidden Dragon Clan's previous generation, and one half of the former Twin Sacred Dragons of Light and Darkness. Before Long Wushang's awakening, he was the clan's only Dark Sacred Dragon martial soul bearer in several centuries. He serves as the Holy Spirit Cult's Supreme Consecrate and is the husband of the cult's Supreme Hierarch, Ye Xishui. Long Wushang is their younger direct son and the publicly acknowledged heir of the Long family. 1 7 74

As a youth, Long Xiaoyao was the Hidden Dragon Clan's greatest hope and became famous across the continent alongside Mu En. However, he later left the clan and disappeared from its records for roughly a century. His relationship with Mu En deteriorated because of Ye Xishui, sending the two former companions down fundamentally different paths. 15 17 74

Though he recognizes the ruthlessness of the Holy Spirit Cult, Long Xiaoyao is fiercely devoted to his family. He arrives at the cult's council meeting to enforce Long Wushang's authority, making clear that he will personally back his son against elders and consecrates who resist his orders. 6 7
