Background

Er Ming spent many years in the God Realm after following Tang San. After returning to the lower realm, he regarded most of its powerhouses with little concern and continued to act under Tang San's orders. 41

He is a Titan Giant Ape capable of taking human form and concealing his origin aura. This disguise initially prevents Di Tian from recognizing him at the Icefire Yin Yang Well. 40

After Wang Dong activates her life-saving pendant, Er Ming is dispatched from the Sect Master Hall to protect her and Huo Yuhao. He arrives after the Holy Spirit Cult has withdrawn, suppresses his anger at Shrek's devastation, and examines Huo Yuhao instead of pursuing the scattered enemy. 22 26

He discovers an abnormal divine trace within Huo Yuhao's spiritual origin but withholds its true nature from Shrek's elders. He recommends taking Huo Yuhao to the Haotian Sect for further investigation and stabilization. 26

Alliance with Shrek

As Mu En prepares Shrek for the aftermath of the attack, he asks Er Ming to represent the Haotian Sect in an alliance and guard the academy for six months. Er Ming agrees without prolonged hesitation. 27

Mu En later entrusts his light dragon core to Er Ming for Huo Yuhao's future recovery. Er Ming accepts the core and promises to oversee its refinement personally. 28

Icefire Yin Yang Well Conflict
