The Banquet

Three days later!

Inside the God of Destruction's castle!

"A banquet!"

"So you mean there'll be all kinds of delicious food?"

"That's wonderful!"

Whis was talking with Bulma!

The moment Beerus heard the words "delicious food," he rushed over from the next room, where he had been training in Ultra Instinct!

Grabbing Whis's Angel Staff, he said, "Of course I'm going!"

Bulma's voice came through. "Please come with Lord Ōten tomorrow at noon!"

"Oh, and don't forget to bring Gohan back. Chi-Chi's been talking about him for ages!"

"All right, see you tomorrow!"

After ending the call, Beerus went right back to training!

Whis covered his mouth with a smile!

"Lord Beerus has been getting more and more diligent lately!"

"I'm not sure I'm used to it yet!"

Whis then reported the news to Ōten!

Ōten thought it over.

"I don't think I've told Chi-Chi that Gohan is staying with me."

"Then let's take this opportunity!"

At Bulma's banquet!

The tables were already covered with delicious food!

Bulma was still greeting the guests as they arrived!

Chi-Chi, Goten, and Trunks sat at the table, waiting for everyone else to arrive!

"I wonder when Gohan will get here?"

"He didn't even say goodbye before leaving. Honestly, that boy!"

Chi-Chi muttered.

Bulma came over. "Chi-Chi, hasn't Sun Wukong arrived yet?"

Chi-Chi replied helplessly, "He went to work in the fields and hasn't come back."

"Just wait. He might suddenly show up any minute."

Bulma smiled. "I see!"

"Then let's get started first!"

Vegeta's expression was grave. "We'll wait until Ōten and Beerus get here."

Tien Shinhan chimed in, "It'd be a real problem if they lost their tempers."

Bulma glanced at Vegeta.

When the light faded, four people appeared at the banquet!

Ōten said, "Hello, everyone!"

Gohan smiled and greeted everyone!

Beerus looked around. "Sun Wukong doesn't seem to be here yet?"

Just then, Sun Wukong appeared behind him!

"Hi, Lord Beerus!"

Beerus jumped.

"Hey, could you not just appear out of nowhere?"

"You'll scare an old man half to death!"

As soon as Goku spotted Ōten, he rushed over!

"Lord Ōten, you're here too!"

"I feel like I've gotten a little stronger lately. Want to have a match?"

Faced with Goku's obsession with martial arts, Ōten let out a breath and shook his head.

"Dad, why are you wearing those clothes?" Gohan murmured.

Only then did Goku notice he was still wearing his work clothes, covered in mud from the fields!

Chi-Chi rushed over. "Goku, why didn't you change before coming?"

"Go back and change right now!"

Just then, Ōten suddenly said, "You can fuse with Vegeta!"

"If you do, I'll agree to fight you two!"

Goku immediately got excited. "Really?"

Ōten nodded.

Goku ran straight over to Vegeta!

"Vegeta, let's fuse!"

Vegeta gritted his teeth. "You idiot!"

"Kakarot!"

"Why are you so desperate to spar with Ōten?"

"And you want to fuse with me? Forget it!"

Goku immediately pressed his hands together again. "Please, Vegeta!"

"Just this once!"

Vegeta roared, "No way!"

"Don't even think about it!"

Ōten had no intention of getting involved in their argument. Smiling, he said, "Whis, Beerus, let's go have something to eat!"

At those words, Whis and Beerus immediately smiled!

"Yes, Lord Ōten!"

While Ōten and the others were enjoying the food, Goku called out, "Lord Ōten, Vegeta agreed to fuse with me. We can fight now!"

Ōten was taken aback. He hadn't expected the proud Vegeta to agree. After all, in Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta would rather die than fuse with Sun Wukong. Every time, he only gave in when they were on the brink of death!

Since Vegeta had agreed, Ōten didn't hesitate and stood up at once!

"Then let's do it!"

"Whis, I'll leave the Earth in your care!"

Vegito walked over, looking extremely reluctant.
