Goku Was Sick

After the banquet, Whis and Beerus left Earth!

Gohan wanted to spend time with his daughter Pan, so he stayed on Earth!

And Gohan's master, Ōten, also decided to stay at Gohan's house for the time being!

When Beerus heard that Ōten wasn't returning to Destruction God's Realm, he was secretly delighted for quite a while!

At Goku's house!

"I'm full!"

Goku held his stomach as he spoke!

Chi-Chi, who was carrying dishes to the table, twitched at the corner of her mouth and exclaimed, "What's wrong with you, Goku?"

"You've only eaten half as much as you usually do!"

Goku looked as if he had no appetite for food at all!

Goten looked worried too. "Dad, what's wrong?"

Goku said softly, "I don't know why, but I have no appetite!"

Chi-Chi immediately pressed her forehead against Goku's and asked, "Do you have a fever?"

Goku said, "No!"

Chi-Chi looked distraught. "Does that mean you're dying?"

Hearing that, Goku looked unconcerned. "I've already died twice!"

"I don't feel like I'm going to die this time!"

Chi-Chi still looked worried. "But you can't even eat! That's just ridiculous!"

"What's going on?"

Chi-Chi was simply worried sick. Goku had already eaten enough to leave a whole table of empty bowls. Perhaps Saiyans' stomachs worked differently, but even half of what Goku ate could feed an ordinary person for a month!

Goku said softly, "Actually, I didn't want to worry you!"

Then Goku recalled how, while he was out shopping, his body had suddenly stopped obeying him!

Even his Flight Technique had failed, and Goku had fallen from the sky, landing with a huge bump on his head!

After hearing his story, Chi-Chi grew even more worried. "Can you figure out what caused it?"

"If we take Goku's unusual body to an ordinary doctor, they definitely won't be able to find anything!"

Suddenly, Chi-Chi came up with a good idea!

"Right, why don't you ask King Kai?"

Goku looked unconcerned. "I told you I'm fine. Don't make a big deal out of it!"

Just then, Goten fell asleep on Goku's lap. He looked at Goku, and Chi-Chi did too!

Goku had no choice but to get up!

"Fine, I'll be right back!"

Instant Transmission!

Goku arrived in an unfamiliar bedroom!

He looked around and said, "This doesn't look like King Kai's house!"

"Where am I?"

Unable to figure it out, Goku simply sat down on the bed!

Just then, Bulma, fresh from her bath and wrapped in a towel, walked out!

"Hey, Vegeta!"

"Trunks has a sports meet tomorrow. You should at least show your face!"

When she turned on the light, she found Goku staring at her!

Goku saw her and greeted her. "Ah... hi!"

Bulma let out a shriek and hurriedly wrapped the towel tighter around herself!

Vegeta rushed in!

"What happened?"

Seeing Sun Wukong sitting on the bed, he exclaimed, "Kakarot!"

Goku squinted at him. "Yo!"

Bulma pressed a button on the wall, and Goku was immediately surrounded by a pile of high-tech weapons!

"Are you ready?"

Goku looked innocent. "I told you, I didn't do it on purpose!"

Bulma shouted, "Then what happened?"

Goku said, "I have no idea either!"

"I wouldn't go out of my way to visit someone's house just to look at sagging..."

Vegeta and Bulma's faces turned bright red!

Vegeta shouted, "Kakarot!"

Realizing he'd put his foot in his mouth, Sun Wukong apologized and used Instant Transmission to leave!

Sun Wukong then appeared at Krillin's place, and at Arale's!

Finally, he stopped at the top of Korin Tower and muttered, "What a problem. It's even worse than I thought!"

At last, he finally reached King Kai!

King Kai gave Goku a thorough examination!

"You have Delayed Qi Disorder!"

"If you use your ki recklessly, you might lose control of it a few days later!"

Goku was taken aback. "Use it recklessly?"

He remembered how, during his match against Ōten, he had forced himself to use King Kai Fist at ten times power while in Super Saiyan Blue!

"Because of King Kai Fist?"

After consulting his medical books, King Kai concluded, "You'll get better on your own after a while!"

"Although you'll recover..."

"You can't go around overusing King Kai Fist at ten times power and so on!"

Goku looked puzzled. "But Lord Ōten used King Kai Fist too. He even used Twentyfold Kaioken on top of Super Saiyan 5. Why wasn't he affected?"

Goku's question stumped King Kai, but Goku kept pressing him!

Unable to stand it any longer, King Kai shouted, "You're driving me crazy!"

"Can you compare yourself to the great inspector?"

"He's a mighty god, even greater than Lord Beerus. You're just a mortal!"

At King Kai's answer, Goku's face fell!

"Then what should I do?"

"There's another martial arts tournament hosted by Zeno coming up!"

King Kai insisted that Goku go home and lie down obediently, and that he mustn't get any stronger!

With no other choice, Goku decided to ask Ōten for advice!

Chi-Chi and Goten were still waiting at home for Goku to return!

Looking at the sleeping Goten, Chi-Chi murmured, "I wonder if there's something wrong with Goku?"

"This is when I need to be strong more than ever!"

"I have to make something delicious that'll get him to eat it all in one go!"

"I need to cheer him up!"

Just then, the house began to shake!

Chi-Chi instinctively hugged Goten tightly!

Then, with a loud boom!

The house exploded!

Goku emerged from the smoke!

"As expected, I can't control Instant Transmission or flying properly!"

Just then, Chi-Chi glared furiously at Goku, Goten in tow, having been woken by the noise!

A tremendous crash followed, and the house behind them was reduced to rubble!

Goku smiled sheepishly. "I'm back!"

The veins on Chi-Chi's forehead bulged!

"Goku!!!"

Goku had demolished the house!

He had no choice but to take Chi-Chi and Goten to Gohan's house!

Gohan was currently training under Ōten!

The two of them floated in the air, their bodies glowing with a mysterious light!

Piccolo was looking after Gohan's daughter with a doting smile!

Goku immediately greeted Gohan and Ōten!

"Hi!"

"Gohan!"

"Lord Ōten!"

Hearing him, Ōten and Gohan immediately ended their training and slowly descended to the ground!

"Yo, it's Goku!"

"What brings you here?"

Gohan ran over excitedly. "Dad!"

Goku said sheepishly, "Something happened, so I thought I'd stay here for a few days!"

Then Goku told Ōten what had been happening to him lately!

When he finished, Goku and Gohan both looked at Ōten nervously!

Ōten was startled. He slowly closed his eyes!

"Goku's suffering from the aftereffects of King Kai Fist. More importantly, this might be a sign that he's on the verge of mastering Ultra Instinct!"

"He'd already grasped the basics of Ultra Instinct during the tournament. It seems I was right!"

When he opened his eyes, Ōten saw how tense Goku and Gohan looked. He thought for a moment, then said slowly, "It's nothing serious. Don't worry!"

"Come, sit down!"

Ōten immediately helped regulate the ki running wild through Goku's body!

Goku felt the change and exclaimed, "I'm better!"

"That's amazing!"

"Thank you, Lord Ōten!"

When Gohan heard that Goku was better, a smile immediately appeared on his face!

Ōten looked at Goku. "For the next few days, train with Gohan and me!"

"Once your technique has reached a basic level, this condition of yours will disappear too. I've only temporarily helped regulate your disrupted ki!"

Hearing that he could train again, Goku became even more excited!

When King Kai had told him to stop training and lie down, Goku had truly felt awful!
