Background / History

Origins and Konoha

Feng’s father inherited Uchiha blood but no ninja talent. Resentful of the clan’s treatment of his family, he left the Uchiha district and refused to let his children use the Uchiha surname; Feng was therefore initially known simply as Feng. 1

After awakening his One-Tomoe Sharingan, Feng was found to possess Genin-level chakra reserves, attributed to his Uzumaki and Senju bloodlines. Uchiha Teuchi reported the awakening to the clan, placing Feng on Fugaku’s radar. 1

Feng trained under Kentaro Uchiha but rejected Konoha’s teachings on obedience, sacrifice, and the Will of Fire. He provoked civilians, ninja, Root agents, and fellow Uchiha, then exploited a staged accusation against Root to inflame tensions between the Uchiha and Konoha. His conduct earned him a place on Danzō’s death list and a reputation as a radical member of the Uchiha Hawk Faction. 5

Following his confrontation with Hiruzen, Feng feigned repentance to gain access to the Hokage. He used the encounter to copy forbidden techniques, then copied Fugaku’s Susanoo while Fugaku mistakenly believed he had reformed. 6 7 Feng robbed Konoha Cemetery for material to use in Impure World Reincarnation and escaped the village by arranging a staged assault on Izumo and Kotetsu, protecting them from blame for his defection. 8 9

Rise in Tea Country

Feng used reincarnated Uchiha Mikio, political manipulation, and control of the daimyo’s household to seize Tea Country’s real authority. Publicly, he served as an effective military commander who suppressed crime and rewarded his troops; privately, he deepened genjutsu placed on the daimyo and built a loyal network among the Guard Corps and Samurai Corps. 16

He married Third Princess Aiko Hamuro and elevated her as Tea Country’s daimyo while retaining practical control over the government. He manipulated the crown princes, ministers, and palace attendants into destroying one another’s political positions, allowing him to rule through Aiko’s authority. 18 23

Uchiha Relocation

Feng returned to Konoha’s Uchiha crisis with a force and political base of his own. He defeated and recruited Hawk Faction Uchiha, challenged Fugaku’s leadership, and ultimately organized the clan’s removal from Konoha. 52 86

After the conflict, Feng settled displaced Uchiha on Takera Island west of Rainbow Country. He presented the island as a new homeland free from Konoha’s discrimination, while relying on Kazue to explain the relocation to the clan members who did not yet trust him. 96

Personality

Feng is calculating, provocative, and intensely pragmatic. He treats ideology as a weapon: he mocked Konoha’s Will of Fire when it was useful to create conflict, pretended to embrace it to deceive Hiruzen and Fugaku, and later replaced blind “Loyalty” with “Glory” as part of his own national program. 5 6 56

He prefers preparation, leverage, and political theater to direct confrontation. Feng routinely performs loyalty, remorse, vulnerability, or righteousness while engineering conflicts behind the scenes. He can be patient when governing or negotiating, but uses threats, coercion, executions, and genjutsu when he considers them efficient. 18 123 166

Despite his ruthlessness, Feng has personal limits. He refuses to casually kill useful or non-hostile people such as Hosokawa, pays contracted rewards, gives Aiko personal freedom outside politics, and insists that Yota’s weather-controlling family receive fair housing and regular wages. 54 25 254

Feng is aware of his poor natural ninja talent and compensates through obsessive training, careful specialization, copied techniques, and knowledge from his previous life. His stated ambition is to become the “First Emperor of the Ninja World,” but he also views infrastructure, education, trade, and civilian welfare as necessary parts of lasting unification. 30 61 277
