Background

Feng reincarnated in Konoha with Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki bloodlines. After awakening a One-Tomoe Sharingan, he was registered into the Uchiha Clan and became concerned that his unusual lineage would make him a target for Danzō and Root experimentation 1 3.

In the aftermath of Nine-Tails Night, the Uchiha Clan was relocated to Konoha's outskirts and placed under growing suspicion and surveillance. Feng initially intended to exploit Konoha's instability, copy valuable techniques with the three Copy Cards given by “Mother Blue Star,” and escape before village reconstruction was complete 2 3.

He copied Fugaku's Mangekyō abilities through a handshake, then left Konoha after acquiring forbidden techniques and reanimated shinobi. Konoha declared him a rogue ninja for allegedly defecting and desecrating heroes' graves, while the Uchiha believed Root had abducted him for experiments 7 16.

In Tea Country, Feng and Uchiha Mikio infiltrated the daimyo's residence, placed the daimyo under genjutsu, eliminated dissenters, and installed Feng as captain of the samurai and capital protector 12. He used the country as a base to train, establish covert control over governments, and prepare an independent future for the Uchiha 16 30.

Appearance

Feng normally conceals his transplanted Mangekyō Sharingan and presents a lesser Sharingan state to preserve ocular power and retain the element of surprise 109.

  • Possesses Sharingan inherited through his Uchiha bloodline.
  • Uses transplanted Mangekyō Sharingan carrying Tsukuyomi and Kotoamatsukami 108.
  • In Sage Art: Super Saiyan Mode, his black hair stands upright and turns gold, while gray-black eyeshadow appears around his eyes 175.
  • Frequently fights with a custom high-grade katana 49.

Personality

Feng is calculating, ambitious, and highly pragmatic. He treats power as a tool for survival and political transformation, using genjutsu, misinformation, coercion, and carefully staged displays of strength to build influence without exposing his full hand too early 12 45 73.

He understands the Uchiha Clan's pride and repeatedly uses overwhelming force to secure obedience before explaining his larger plans. His recruitment of Yashiro and other clan members relies on a mixture of future knowledge, ideological appeals, and deliberate intimidation 48 50 52.

Despite his ruthlessness, Feng opposes narrow clan supremacism when it threatens long-term stability. He rejects Bosawa's proposal to absorb the bloodline limits of displaced Kirigakure clans and instead arranges their broader integration into his forces and society 107. He also establishes systems for education, civilian work, and internal accountability in the territories under his control 97 143.

Abilities & Skills

Copy Cards

Feng received three Copy Cards from “Mother Blue Star.” By making contact with a target, he can copy one of that person's techniques and master the copied ability 2 7.

  • Copied Fugaku's Susanoo and Mangekyō abilities through a handshake 7.
  • Copied the Flying Thunder God Technique from Tobirama Senju 15.
  • His limited number of cards forces him to prioritize techniques with exceptional utility or survival value 2 30.

Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan

Feng's Sharingan provides perception and genjutsu capability, while his transplanted Mangekyō eyes grant access to Tsukuyomi and Kotoamatsukami 108.

  • Uses ordinary Sharingan genjutsu to control political targets, including the daimyos of Tea Country and the Land of Water 12 124.
  • Keeps his Mangekyō concealed because repeated use consumes ocular power 109.
  • Kotoamatsukami can instantly control an unsuspecting target, but has limited uses and a long cooldown without Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan or Hashirama cells 127.
  • Uses defensive preparations such as Transcription Seal and Demonic Illusion: Mirror Heaven and Earth Change to compensate for his former vulnerability to genjutsu 80.

Susanoo

Feng's copied Susanoo is based on Fugaku's dark-crimson version. Because he acquired it while his eyes were removed, it consumes chakra rather than degrading his eyesight 15 91.

  • Can manifest partial forms, armored upper-body forms, and Perfect Susanoo 52 90.
  • Uses Susanoo for enormous sword strikes, enlarged Fire Release, Rasengan attacks, and battlefield-scale destruction 50 83.
  • Can restore portions sealed or damaged by Itachi's Totsuka Blade so long as he has sufficient chakra 91.
  • Sustained full-power use is limited by chakra, though Kurama's assistance can extend it dramatically 50 91.

Flying Thunder God Technique

Feng uses Flying Thunder God as his primary movement, infiltration, and assassination technique 45.

  • Travels rapidly between countries through marked locations 75.
  • Uses it to evade attacks, strike unpredictably, and pressure opponents such as Obito and Danzō 89 194.
  • Combines it with enhanced speed and Mangekyō perception to perform Flying Thunder God Technique—Chaotic Flash 249.
  • Cannot initially execute the technique as effortlessly as Minato Namikaze due to physical limitations, though he improves it through sustained practice 45.

Kurama and Jinchūriki Power

Feng has a half of the Nine-Tails sealed within him and works with Kurama as a combat partner 38 91.

  • Kurama can dispel genjutsu affecting Feng and replenish his chakra 49 52.
  • Kurama's chakra enables Feng to maintain Perfect Susanoo and access Yin Nine-Tails Chakra Mode 49 249.
  • Feng's large chakra reserves also stem from his three bloodlines and years of chakra leaking through the Eight Trigrams Seal 64 91.

Sage Arts

Feng pursues senjutsu specifically because natural-energy techniques remain effective against future Ōtsutsuki threats 115.

  • Uses Shadow Clones, Yaku Daibu, and Sharingan observation to study natural energy safely 172.
  • Sage Art: Super Saiyan Mode combines senjutsu with Lightning Release Chakra Mode for major increases in speed and power 175.
  • Sage Art: Perfect Susanoo augments his completed Susanoo with sage chakra 176.
  • Sage Mode requires time to gather senjutsu chakra, making instant activation difficult during high-speed combat 249.

Ninjutsu and Combat

Feng trains techniques methodically, focusing on mastering one or two at a time rather than collecting techniques without refinement 30.

  • Fire Release — Refines Great Fireball into the Modified Great Fireball: Blazing Fireball Technique; also uses Majestic Destroyer Flame and other advanced fire techniques 30 45.
  • Swordsmanship — Favors chakra-enhanced sword combat and studies Iron Country styles to complement Susanoo's sword-based fighting 27 49.
  • Lightning Release Chakra Mode — Uses extreme speed and physical reinforcement, including a strongest armor form against Urashiki 129 249.
  • Eight Gates — Has opened the first three Gates while training swordsmanship and movement 64.
  • Earth and Iron Release — Uses elemental techniques and weapon enchantments such as Earth Release Blade, Iron Release Blade, and Flame Release Blade 64 92.
  • Shadow Clones — Uses clones for parallel training, combat openings, and techniques such as Blade Storm; creating more than ten at once overwhelms his mental endurance 39 175.

Impure World Reincarnation

Feng uses Impure World Reincarnation to obtain powerful assets, medical assistance, and techniques 15.

  • Reanimated Rin Nohara to perform the eye-removal procedure required for his chakra-based Susanoo 15.
  • Reanimated Tobirama Senju, Kushina Uzumaki, and other shinobi while keeping dangerous summons sealed when necessary 15.
  • Uses reincarnated personnel strategically rather than treating them as allies 15 30.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Custom high-grade katana — His preferred close-combat weapon; used with sword techniques and chakra enhancements 49 92.
  • Steel-Wing Dragon — Summoned beast used for travel; Feng transplanted his original Two-Tomoe Sharingan into it to improve its vision 109 129.
  • TokatsuA chameleon summon capable of transporting and releasing large groups of people, including evacuating Uchiha clansmen from Konoha 96 130.
  • Flying Thunder God marks — Placed on terrain and strategic locations to support instant movement and Chaotic Flash 75 249.

Relationships

  • Uchiha Mikio — Mentor and early co-conspirator. Mikio trains Feng in chakra control, basic ninjutsu, swordsmanship, and political infiltration; together they seize control of Tea Country 11 12 16.
  • Kurama — Sealed partner and source of chakra. Kurama dispels genjutsu, supports Feng's Susanoo, and assists his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode 49 91 249.
  • Uchiha Yashiro — Key lieutenant and trusted supporter. Feng defeats Yashiro to earn his allegiance, later entrusting him with Uchiha defense and Kirigakure administration 50 97 143.
  • Uchiha Fugaku — Former clan head and source of Feng's copied Susanoo. Feng publicly deposes him, then later confronts him again when Orochimaru reanimates Fugaku 7 86 175.
  • Uchiha Itachi — Political and personal adversary. Feng exposes Itachi's intended betrayal, expels him from the clan, battles him with Perfect Susanoo, and ultimately acquires his Mangekyō eye 87 91 108.
  • Uchiha ShisuiFeng seeks to preserve Shisui as a potential Uchiha ally, while also claiming Shisui's Kotoamatsukami eye for its strategic value 75 88 108.
  • Uchiha Kazue, Kentaro, Bosawa, and Jianshi — Early followers who administer territories, recruit allies, train forces, and carry out Feng's covert expansion plans 57 73 97.
  • Aiko Hamuro — Tea Country daimyo and Feng's wife; Feng treats her position as part of his political structure, while she independently manages palace affairs 25 30.
  • Uchiha Izumi — Royal Guard member and increasingly proactive subordinate. She assists Feng's sage research and later opposes his decision to undergo White Zetsu cell fusion before sufficient testing 147 172 251.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Tea Country and the Hidden Power Base

Feng establishes Tea Country as his first political base by controlling its daimyo through genjutsu and eliminating opposition. He trains under Mikio, expands his technique set, and develops the model of using Sharingan users to control civilian rulers rather than pursuing direct coups in shinobi villages 12 16 19.

Recruitment of the Uchiha Hawks

After revealing Susanoo to Yashiro, Feng defeats him and gains his support. He then subdues additional Uchiha squads, recruits Kentaro, Bosawa, Jianshi, and Kazue, and sends trusted genjutsu users to control the daimyos of multiple countries 48 52 57.

Uchiha Clan Assembly and Exodus

Feng returns to Konoha as the Uchiha crisis reaches its peak. He convenes the clan assembly, publicly removes Fugaku, exposes Itachi's planned betrayal, becomes clan head, and divides the clan between those who will leave Konoha and those who will remain 85 87 88 90.

He uses his battle with Itachi to buy time for the hawkish Uchiha to evacuate, then relocates them to Zhuliang Island. There, he organizes 503 Uchiha ninja into a new independent military and civilian structure 91 92 96 97.

Expansion and Kirigakure

Feng rescues persecuted Kirigakure ninja clans, rejects plans to simply absorb their bloodlines into the Uchiha, and incorporates them into a broader force 101 106 107. He later takes control of Kirigakure, appoints Yuki Rō as Fifth Mizukage, and orders reforms to its military and educational systems 143.

Return to Konoha and Root's Destruction

During Orochimaru's Konoha Crush Plan, Feng leads the Uchiha against Root. He kills Danzō, destroys Root, recovers dozens of stolen Sharingan, and orders mercy for innocent Root children so they can spread word of the Uchiha's revenge 193 196.

Ōtsutsuki Threat

When Ōtsutsuki Urashiki attacks Gaara and drains tailed-beast chakra, Feng responds immediately, evacuates Gaara from danger, and confronts Urashiki in the Land of Wind 248. Feng forces Urashiki into retreat through Sage Mode, Yin Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Lightning Release Armor, and Flying Thunder God—Chaotic Flash before an unknown Kamui user intervenes 249.
