Plane Will and Laws

Douluo Continent possesses a sentient Plane Will, a manifestation naturally born when a planet becomes sufficiently strong. It maintains the world's operation and can sense the distinctive aura of living beings originating from Douluo Continent when they are close enough. 224 228

The Plane Will was originally nine-colored during the era when the Dragon God chose the world. Following divine interference, it was reduced to five colors; it is also described as a seven-colored sphere when summoned by the Asura God. 186 224

Divine Realm Seals

The Divine Realm altered Douluo Continent's core laws after the Dragon God's fall. These alterations made Spirit Beast Spirit Rings necessary for soul masters to advance, forcing humans and soul beasts into long-term conflict. 224 228

• Five law seals placed by the Supreme Gods manifested as enormous chains across the sky. 284
• A Ghost Gate entity shattered one seal belonging to the God of Goodness. 284

Martial Souls and Soul Masters

Martial Souls are central to life on Douluo Continent: every person possesses one, while those able to awaken and cultivate theirs become Soul Masters. Innate Soul Power determines whether a person can cultivate and greatly affects their potential. 1 2

Traditional advancement relies on Spirit Beast Spirit Rings.

• Soul Masters must acquire Spirit Beast Spirit Rings to break through major ranks. 224

History

Dragon God Era

Douluo Continent was originally known as Dragon God Continent, having been selected by the Dragon God after he arrived in the universe through an Ancient Path of the Underworld. 186 344

After the Dragon God's death, the dragon race declined and humanity rose to rename the land Douluo Continent. The Dragon God split into the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King; the former was sealed, while the latter escaped. 186 344

Era of Sects and Empires

The continent's soul master world was originally dominated by Spirit Hall and the Seven Great Sects, while the Heaven Dou and Star Luo Empires were its principal political powers. 26 37

The Seven Great Sects later declined: the White Tiger and Fire Leopard Sects fell under Star Luo control, the Elephant Armored Sect submitted to Spirit Hall, and the Wind Sword Sect disappeared into seclusion. Ghost Gate Invasion

Ghost Gate's arrival plunged the continent into war. Its creatures emerged through portals ranging from small gates requiring Title Douluo-level strength to destroy to stronger gates requiring a First-level Deity. 284 288

The invaders severed the Plane Will's connection to Sun Moon Continent, transformed it into a ghost domain, and later used it as the base from which Ghost Gate controlled Douluo Star. 284 329

Fasnuo Province became the main battlefield as the Ten King Halls concentrated their armies there. 288

Reconstruction into Douluo World

Repeated attacks by Ghost Gate and divine powers shattered Douluo Continent into countless islands. Yang Dong used the Heavenly Palace's power to gather the fragments and reform them over seven days and nights. 372

He then reopened the world as Douluo World, creating East Continent Douluo, West Continent Sun Moon, South Continent Dawn, and North Continent Vastness. 372 373

• The Silver Dragon King was entrusted with restoring the terrain and received a token allowing her to control weather across the world. 372
• Soul beasts were relocated to Northern Cangmang Province, ending their coexistence with human settlements across the other continents. 374
• Yang Dong made cultivation methods, Soul Skills, and paths toward godhood available to all beings. 373
• The Evil Eye Tyrant, named Que Xie by Yang Dong, became the first god of the reconstructed Douluo Continent. 373

Heavenly Court

Yang Dong manifested the Heavenly Court over Douluo Continent after absorbing the Heaven Seal and becoming a Divine Lord. The Heavenly Court's arrival brought spiritual energy that allowed many cultivators and soul beasts to break through their bottlenecks. 369

Later, Yang Dong moved Douluo Star into the shadows, concealing it from the universe. He established rules for its God Level beings:

• They must not reveal the location of Douluo Realm.
• They must not attack lower-level beings without cause. 377

The Heavenly Court subsequently expanded from Douluo Star into surrounding starfields, while Douluo Star remained its foundation. 413
