Wood Release Seals the Field, Despair of the Cursed Mark Sound Ninja

Violent chakra continued to spread, and the arena beneath Kidomaru's feet cracked inch by inch.

All six of his arms clenched at once. He shot forward close to the ground, several times faster than before.

"Die!"

Kidomaru's fist slammed toward Chenshu Senju's face while his other two arms blocked off the paths to either side.

Chenshu Senju tilted his head aside to evade the punch, then lightly pushed off the ground and slid back several meters.

Boom!

Kidomaru's punch missed, leaving a deep crater in the arena.

Naruto leaned over the railing, his eyes wide. "Was this guy always this strong?"

"The cursed mark strengthened his body."

Sasuke stared at the black markings on Kidomaru's face, the Sharingan in his eyes slowly turning. "But he's already lost his mind."

At the center of the arena, Kidomaru charged again.

His six arms swung in succession, the shadows of his fists nearly sealing off every side around Chenshu Senju. The sheer force whipped up fierce gusts of wind.

Chenshu Senju did not counterattack. He merely continued to evade amid the assault.

Not a step too much, not a step too little.

Kidomaru's fists brushed past the edges of his clothes several times, yet never truly touched him.

"Is dodging all you can do?"

Kidomaru roared and spat out a massive web.

The web covered more than half the arena, sealing off all of Chenshu Senju's retreat paths.

Seeing this, Tayuya relaxed slightly. "It's over. Kidomaru's spider silk is hard to cut even with a kunai."

Jirobo nodded. "As long as he gets tangled up, that brat will—"

Before he could finish, dozens of vines burst up from beneath the arena.

The web was torn apart by the vines before it even hit the ground.

Several vines continued forward without slowing, coiling directly toward Kidomaru's arms.

Kidomaru hurriedly leaped up, all six arms forming hand seals at once.

"Spider Sticky Gold!"

Golden liquid spewed from his mouth, transforming in an instant into more than a dozen hard spears that shot down from the air toward Chenshu Senju.

Chenshu Senju raised his right hand.

"Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall."

Wooden pillars rose in a crisscross pattern, blocking every spear.

Taking advantage of the moment, Kidomaru landed atop the wooden wall and sprang high into the air, all six fists crashing down at once.

"This time, let's see how you dodge!"

Chenshu Senju looked up at him.

The next moment, a wooden pillar rose from where Kidomaru was about to land and struck him precisely in the abdomen.

Kidomaru's eyes bulged as his body folded up in midair. The strength he had just gathered scattered in an instant.

Before he could hit the ground, a second wooden pillar rammed into him from the side and blasted him away.

Kidomaru crashed into the wall, his entire body embedded in it.

The stands fell silent.

Naruto rubbed his stomach and suddenly felt a little pain.

The cursed mark had spread across his entire body. His skin turned dark brown, a third eye opened on his forehead, and a golden longbow swiftly formed in his hands.

Kidomaru drew the bowstring, the sharp arrow aimed at Chenshu Senju's heart.

Kakashi lowered Make-Out Paradise, his expression turning serious.

That arrow possessed enough power to threaten a jonin.

Hayate Gekko also stepped forward, ready to stop the match at any moment.

Whoosh!

The arrow left the string and crossed the arena in an instant.

Yet Chenshu Senju had already moved left before his opponent even released it.

The arrow grazed his afterimage and pierced through the wall behind him, leaving a bottomless hole.

Kidomaru's pupils contracted sharply.

Kidomaru's face twisted as he drew the bow again.

Countless trees burst from the ground, their thick trunks and branches instantly occupying the arena. Kidomaru had just tried to retreat when a wooden wall rose behind him.

He changed direction, only to find vines on his left already sealing off his path.

This was not pursuit at all.

Chenshu Senju had been controlling his route of movement from the very beginning.

A massive wooden hand rose from underground, its five fingers suddenly closing around Kidomaru in a crushing grip.

The silence lasted for a moment before a wave of discussion erupted all around.

The jonin from every village now looked at Chenshu Senju completely differently.

What kind of genin was this?

Even a jonin standing in the arena might not have won so easily.

Naruto excitedly pumped his fist. "Nicely done!"

Sasuke said nothing, only clenched his hands tighter.

Gaara stood in the distance. The sand within his gourd churned constantly, while the killing intent in his eyes grew even stronger.

Chenshu Senju dispelled his Wood Release, and a system notification sounded in his mind.

The corner of Chenshu Senju's mouth lifted slightly.
