Background / History
According to Uchiha Feng’s account, the Uchiha and Senju clans jointly founded the Hidden Leaf Village through Uchiha Madara and Hashirama Senju. The Uchiha remained one of Konoha’s three strongest major clans alongside the Senju and Hyuga after the Second Hokage’s death. 26
By Konoha Year 45, Fugaku led the clan and his wife Mikoto gave birth to twin sons, Feng and Itachi. Feng resolved from childhood to prevent the destruction he believed awaited the clan. 1
Following the Nine-Tails’ Rampage, Danzō publicly insinuated that the Uchiha were responsible, claiming that Sharingan users could control tailed beasts. 7 Three years later, the clan had been marginalized by Konoha’s leadership and relocated to the village outskirts; internal pressure grew as Fugaku considered rebellion. 8
Feng instead urged Fugaku to “withdraw from the world” until chaos created an opportunity to return. The clan formally relinquished its posts in the Konoha Military Police Force and entered seclusion, a move that drew attention across the ninja world. 10 11
Tensions with Konoha escalated when Danzō sought to search the compound over unexplained chakra fluctuations. Fugaku refused, activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, and ordered the clan to kill any outsider entering their territory. The gathered clansmen included Three-Tomoe Sharingan users with Chunin- and Jonin-level chakra, despite wearing no village forehead protectors. 23
After Feng destroyed Root and ultimately killed Danzō, the clan’s position became still more forceful. Feng later pursued resources and a prospective alliance with the Hyuga Clan, citing the Uchiha’s financial strain after abandoning village missions. 28 34
Feng’s retaliation for the blinding of Haruka further established the clan’s fearsome external reputation. He publicly claimed responsibility for the destruction inflicted upon Kumogakure and declared it the price for offending the Uchiha Clan. 45 50 51
During Akatsuki’s attack on Konoha, the Uchiha Clan took part in civilian evacuation efforts and prepared the Four Red Yang Formation as a protective barrier. Their conduct substantially improved their standing among Konoha’s villagers, who began to regard the clan as an essential part of the village’s defense. 112 114 115
Feng later revived Uchiha Madara in a genuine living body rather than as a conventional Impure World Reincarnation. Madara’s return restored a legendary ancestral figure to the Uchiha side during the conflict involving the Four Shadows Alliance and the Ōtsutsuki Clan. 162 163 169
As the Ōtsutsuki threat intensified, Feng, Fugaku, and the clan elders supported plans to unite the ninja villages through the Ninja Star Federation. The clan discussed the proposal internally before participating in the broader political process that established the Federation as a united response to external threats. 239 240 259 310
In an account concerning another timeline, Feng states that the Uchiha Clan was massacred after Itachi acted under orders to avert a wider catastrophe and protect Sasuke. Feng identifies his purpose in that timeline as preventing the clan’s destruction and preserving its future. 223 224

- Danzō identifies the Sharingan as capable of controlling tailed beasts, using this claim to cast suspicion on the clan after the Nine-Tails’ attack. 7
- The Mangekyo’s use can progressively damage the user’s eyesight; Itachi’s condition is further worsened by Bloodline Disease. 20
Susanoo
Mangekyo users may manifest Susanoo, a chakra construct with increasingly powerful forms. 2
- The initial form manifests ribs and an arm. 2
- Later forms develop a skeleton, flesh and meridians, Tengu armor, legs, Sage chakra enhancement, and eventually a Complete Body capable of flight and using the user’s techniques. 2
- Feng uses Susanoo against the Nine-Tails and Root, and later develops Susanoo Armor. 7 9 17
- Feng identifies Armored Susanoo as a form created by combining Susanoo with a tailed beast, while Ultimate Susanoo uses a Divine Tree vessel and the chakra of all nine tailed beasts. 2
- Itachi uses Susanoo against Neji and Akatsuki forces, while Madara uses Susanoo on a massive scale against the Four Shadows Alliance. 121 169
- Feng’s evolved Void Demon Eye preserves his ability to manifest Susanoo, which he later employs against Sasuke. 116 217

- Feng considers coercion against the clan grounds for open retaliation and warns Hiruzen that he could destroy Konoha if the Uchiha are attacked. 9

Relationships
- Konohagakure — Original home village and former institutional affiliation; relations deteriorate after marginalization, surveillance, and Root’s actions against the clan. The clan later protects Konoha’s civilians during the Akatsuki assault, improving its reputation among the villagers. 8 10 23 112 115

- Ōtsutsuki Clan — A major external threat whose members seek to revive their power through Uchiha descendants in Konoha. Feng defeats and interrogates Ōtsutsuki Ren, while the Uchiha support reconnaissance and Federation-level preparations against the wider threat. 233 234 235 259
