Background / History

The Ice God had fallen completely long ago, leaving behind Ice God Hall as an inheritance ground. He unexpectedly regained a trace of divine consciousness after Jiang Bai connected Golden Cluster to the hall's core; Jiang Bai was the first person he saw upon awakening. At first too weak to respond, he gradually gathered enough strength to assume the form of a young man. 26

Upon meeting Jiang Bai in Ice God Hall, he offered the divine armor originally prepared for an inheritor. Jiang Bai declined the armor and instead negotiated changes to the Ice God Trials. The Ice God agreed to establish the requested trial structure and its safeguards after Jiang Bai promised to bring the Ice Snow Maiden to meet him in the future. 26

The Ice God later summoned Huo Yuhao to Ice God Hall after Huo fused with the Ice Empress. Recognizing Huo as Douluo Continent's Child of Fortune, he discovered and extracted Asura Godly Thought from him, warning that it could turn Huo into the Asura God's puppet. He then offered Huo the Ice God divine position and altered the inheritance arrangement to conceal its true nature from the Asura God. 27

After Huo accepted the divine trial, the Ice God bestowed a divine mark, damaged divine armor, the Ice Heaven cultivation technique, and three strips of Ten-Thousand-Year Profound Ice Marrow. His manifestation dissipated afterward, leaving an ice sculpture in the hall. His main soul remained there, while a soul fragment left with Jiang Bai to observe the outside world. 28

Appearance

The Ice God initially manifests as an azure-blue young man seated on a throne within Ice God Hall. As he expends divine power, his hands and phantom become increasingly transparent before dissipating into an ice sculpture. 26 28

Personality

The Ice God is curious, composed, and willing to negotiate. Although initially wary of Jiang Bai's secretive plans, he does not press for answers once Jiang Bai refuses to explain them. He is also candid about his own weakened state and accepts that Jiang Bai holds leverage over him through the Ice God core. 26 28

He is sympathetic toward Huo Yuhao because both were Children of Fortune, and he sincerely offers Huo a path to resist the Asura God's influence. However, he expresses himself with blunt, irreverent language, particularly when discussing the Asura God and the prospect of Huo becoming a puppet. 27
