Background / History
Hoffa is a man from the future who transmigrates into the body of an orphan in Britain in 1938. Knowing that World War II and future wizarding conflicts are approaching, he enters Hogwarts without family, political backing, or certainty that his knowledge of history can protect him. His first meeting with Tom Riddle at the orphanage establishes their long-running hostility. 2 3
While exploring London’s wizarding world, Hoffa awakens the Compulsory Education System. Its exploration rewards become a central source of his early growth, although the enormous scale and restricted areas of Hogwarts make progress slow. 4 7 12
At Hogwarts, Hoffa’s fear of the coming war drives him toward Transfiguration, stealth magic, Animagus research, meditation, and secret-realm exploration. He becomes increasingly involved in the mysteries surrounding Miranda, Miller, Adbe Gorshak, Sylby, and the Half-Human King. 19 54 56 107
Appearance
Hoffa initially resembles an ordinary, approachable boy rather than a conventionally striking child. By age thirteen, his body bears the marks of repeated battles and magical alterations. 2 142
- Short ash-white hair and pale golden pupils after his Thunderbird transformation 142
- Lean, hardened physique and several scars across his upper body 142
- A silver earring connected to the goblin Yinduo 19 56
- A three-ring scar on his chest after absorbing Night God power 252 254
- In Activated State, he grows taller, becomes hunched and wiry, and emits blue electrical arcs through steel-like hair 107
- Can transform into a Thunderbird or a winged bird-man form in combat 65 381
Personality
Hoffa begins his new life frightened, isolated, and intensely focused on survival. The certainty of an approaching war, combined with his lack of family or allies, makes him obsessive about acquiring knowledge and strength. He studies while other students rest, repeatedly measuring every skill against the practical question of whether it can keep him alive. 19 59
Despite this pragmatism, Hoffa repeatedly risks himself to protect others. He tries to prevent destruction at Hogwarts, refuses to expose Sylby to the Minister for Magic, abandons Sylby only when forced to save students, and chooses to rescue stranded civilians despite immediate danger. 56 128 133 240
His compassion coexists with ruthlessness. Under pressure, he can be brutal toward enemies and willing to make devastating choices, particularly when Chloe or the stability of the timeline is at stake. His central struggle is not simply becoming stronger, but finding a purpose beyond reacting to other people’s plans and disasters. 189 301 334
