Background / History

In his previous life, Feng Yang was targeted by the reborn Su Nan, whose revenge left Feng Yang disfigured, burned, socially ruined, and separated from his family. At the edge of death, Feng Yang awakened his Yin-Yang Eyes. After his parents, older brother, and Su Nan's parents died in a car accident, he encountered their ghosts; their pleas stopped him from killing Su Nan in revenge. 1 2 3

For more than twenty years, Feng Yang lived apart from ordinary society while partnering with a Vengeful Ghost. The ghost eventually dissipated to protect him, leaving Feng Yang the Vengeful Ghost Talisman and enabling his return to the past. 1

Reborn shortly before the tragedy begins, Feng Yang returns to the haunted-house fire with his family still alive and Yin Li not yet dead. He saves Su Nan despite their history, then repeatedly enters the burning building to lead firefighters and survivors out.
