Curious Luffy
The Thousand Sunny cut through the waves, its white sails billowing, speeding towards New World.
Luffy sat cross-legged on the iconic lion head statue at the bow of the ship, clutching a brand-new newspaper in his hands, flipping through it several times.
His gaze was fixed on the front-page photo that took up most of the page, staring at the towering, sky-blue Susanoo. His eyes widened suddenly, and his voice boomed, "This person! He's Uchiha! He's Natsu's clansman! He must be Ace's friend too!"
Upon hearing this, Nami reached out and snatched the newspaper from his hand, then raised her hand and delivered a precise and powerful flick to the forehead.
"Can't you behave yourself?! Someone cleaved Kaido of the Four Emperors, into the deep sea with a single sword strike, his fate unknown. His strength is terrifying to that extent, and you dare to casually try to establish a connection with him?"
Luffy rubbed his bulging forehead, looking aggrieved, his lips pouting, his defiance written all over his face, "I'm not trying to fight him! I just wanted to ask him how Natsu's been lately, and how Ace is doing on Origin Island."
This pure thought startled Nami for a moment, and the anxiety in her heart subsided slightly.
She slowly lowered the newspaper, her gaze sweeping over the text at the bottom of the page, from Madara's astonishing achievements to the detailed description of the Uchiha's Origin Island.
With well-regulated sea routes, unimpeded trade channels, and a strict and orderly system of ethnic management, the entire sea area is peaceful and stable, and no pirates or bandits from all over the Four Blues dare to set foot there and plunder even a little.
As Nami looked around, her eyes visibly lit up, instantly filling with a sparkling light. "No pirates causing trouble, stable and safe sea routes, unimpeded trade... This isn't just a sea outpost, it's paradise every merchant dreams of!"
Just then, Sanji walked out of the kitchen carrying a steaming plate of seafood fried rice, the rich aroma wafting in the air.
Noticing Nami's eyes lighting up, he chuckled and casually asked, "What's wrong Nami- san? Did you see something good?"
Nami immediately held up the newspaper and handed it to him, her tone full of admiration. "Look! The waters around Origin Island, controlled by the Uchiha Clan, are incredibly peaceful. Pirates don't dare to approach at all. It couldn't be more suitable for doing business."
Sanji glanced at the newspaper and immediately nodded in agreement, his eyes gentle yet resolute. "We absolutely have to go. It's not that we need to avoid the storm, but it would be best if Nami and Robin could have a safe and comfortable supply port."
Meanwhile, Zoro leaned against the ship's railing, resting with his eyes closed. He overheard the entire conversation and casually quipped, "Who was it that was just spouting off about gentlemen staying away from the kitchen? Now they're all eager to do it."
"Shut up, you damn Moss Head!" Sanji changed instantly. He turned around and glared at Sanji, his anger flaring up immediately.
Zoro's temple throbbed slightly, and his fingertips quietly touched the hilt of his sword. The familiar Yakumi instantly filled the air.
Robin, carrying a cup of warm coffee, slowly walked out of the cabin, breaking the banter between the two.
She took the newspaper, her fingertips gently tracing the words and photos on the page. After carefully flipping through it for a moment, she spoke softly, "I have been collecting information about the Uchiha Clan."
From establishing themselves in the West Blue and gradually eliminating the chaos in the seas, to steadily expanding into the New World, every step of their plan was meticulous and methodical, far surpassing that of ordinary pirate forces.
Luffy could no longer contain his excitement. He leaped off the bow of the ship and stood on the deck, shouting at the vast sea. His voice was clear and sincere, carried away by the wind. "Hey-- Madara Uchiha!"
You must be a member of Natsu's tribe, right? Can you tell me where Natsu is? How is Ace doing? I must thank them properly when I see them again next time!
Nami had long since forgotten the noise around her. Her fingertips were pointing at the flight route information on the newspaper, and her mind was already racing with calculations.
Once they arrived at Origin Island, what scarce resources should they replenish? How could they make a good profit by taking advantage of the stable trade channels? Their thoughts had already drifted far away.
The gentle sea breeze billowed the white sails, propelling the Thousand Sunny across the blue waves, carrying the excitement and enthusiasm of its crew, and steadfastly heading towards New World.
Luffy sat back down at the bow of the ship, gazing at the distant horizon where the sea and sky met, his heart filled with fresh anticipation.
Natsu, Ace, and even Madara Uchiha, who suppressed the Four Emperors with a single sword strike... each of these people with red eyes seems exceptionally interesting.
He grew increasingly eager to see for himself what that peaceful and prosperous sea, silently protected by the Uchiha Clan, truly looked like.
The first half of the Grand Line, near Baltigo.
The entire sea area is shrouded in a layer of gray-white sand all year round. When the sea breeze sweeps by, fine white dust is scattered all over the sky, making the field of vision extremely low, and all you can see is a desolate and monotonous gray-white landscape.
It was precisely this extreme remoteness and isolation that made this deserted island a secret base where the Revolutionary Army had hidden for many years and safely established itself.
The nearshore waters were deathly still, with not a single merchant ship or fishing boat in sight, nor any pirate flags fluttering in the wind; even the sea breeze seemed weak and desolate.
Only one jet-black speedboat lay quietly on the shallows, its hull engraved with the Uchiha clan crest, which gleamed with a cold, sharp light in the hazy sky.
Two figures stood side by side at the bow of the ship, their bodies radiating an overwhelming sense of impatience and exhaustion.
Yakumi crossed his arms, his profile was cold and taut, his brows were furrowed, and the Chakra surrounding him exuded a sense of restlessness.
He was always calm and composed, rarely showing his emotions, almost rigid and calm, but after traveling all this way, the weariness in his eyes could no longer be hidden.
The Yaoyu beside him was even more blunt. He lightly touched his back teeth with the tip of his tongue and uttered a heartfelt complaint in a low voice, full of helplessness from being tormented to the extreme. "I'm completely fed up. I've never suffered like this in my life."
The Uchiha twins were known within the clan as cold and aloof twins.
Having been taciturn and ruthless for many years, he had long been accustomed to the solemn tranquility of Origin Island.
Even powerful figures like Natsu and Ban, who stand at the pinnacle of the world, are usually sparing with their words and have a calm and reserved mind. The members of their clans never show their emotions.
But who could have predicted that during their six months of peaceful recuperation, Ace would be constantly by their side, giving them a firsthand experience of what true high energy levels meant?
As dawn broke, Ace came over to strike up a conversation.
The sun was high in the sky, so he pulled the two of them aside to spar and test their skills.
Dusk fell, they gathered around, holding delicious food, to chat about their feelings and reminisce about the past.
