History

Rhodes Island was established only recently, having existed for approximately two years by the time of the Chernobog operation. Its early financial support included companies invested in by the Doctor, while its cooperation with Rhine Lab reportedly predates the organization itself 50 95 98.

The organization first becomes involved with Mizuki after he is found in Lungmen carrying credentials identifying him as a Rhodes Island elite operator. Kal'tsit confirms that the damaged ID chip is genuine, yet neither the Landship nor the Lungmen office has any record of an operator named Mizuki; his serial number also does not exist on the elite-operator roster 2 21 25.

Rhodes Island forms a long-term agreement with Penguin Logistics, whose members are assigned to assist the organization and remain stationed aboard the Landship 1 32. It later enters Chernobog to recover the Doctor while avoiding unnecessary conflict, with Amiya leading the operation 36 48.

Following the Doctor's recovery, Rhodes Island develops a medical and personnel-exchange relationship with Reunion. It supplies suppressants and other medical goods, while several Reunion members—including FrostNova and Mudrock—relocate or work with Rhodes Island 52 57 78. The organization subsequently expands its cooperation with Iberia after the Iberian peace talks, gaining trade access and permission to establish an office there 113 118.

Medical Care

Rhodes Island's main purpose is medical care, particularly the treatment and suppression of Oripathy. It maintains stocks of suppressants and distributes medicine through regional offices and field operations 52 67.
