Helicarrier, hangar.
This place had once housed S.H.I.E.L.D.'s prized fleet of Quinjets, but now it looked more like a scrapyard battered by a meteor shower.
"Boom!!"
Hulk hurled the wreckage of a fighter jet worth tens of millions of dollars over like it was a crumpled paper ball.
Jiang Li, as Four Arms, neither dodged nor retreated. His upper pair of arms crossed over his head while his lower pair caught the fighter's landing gear. His feet scraped out two trails of sparks across the floor before he forcibly halted his retreat.
"This is such a waste!"
Jiang Li complained as he flung the wreckage aside, then charged at Hulk like a sumo wrestler.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The red and green giants traded blows wildly amid the ruins.
Although Four Arms in Rage Mode could barely match him in strength, Jiang Li had discovered a serious problem:
Hulk was getting more excited as they fought—and bigger, too!
Originally around two and a half meters tall, Hulk had now swollen to nearly three meters. His skin had turned a dark green, and every punch sent visible ripples through the air.
Damn it, is this some kind of infinite rage cheat? Jiang Li's palms tingled from the impact.
Just as Hulk lifted a massive steel plate, ready to smash Jiang Li to death—
"Stay away from my friend, beast!"
A furious roar came with a peal of thunder.
Thor finally arrived. Swinging Mjolnir, he slammed into Hulk's lower back like a lightning-charged cannonball!
"Thud!"
Hulk staggered a step from the collision, then turned around, his bloodshot eyes glaring at Thor.
"Roar! Little golden man!"
Hulk clearly hated this guy who could shoot lightning even more. He abandoned Jiang Li and threw a punch at Thor.
Thor raised his hammer to block.
"Clang—!"
The tremendous force sent Thor skidding back more than ten meters, but he held his ground, his eyes burning with battle lust.
"A mortal body can contain such monstrous strength?" Thor shook his slightly numb hand. "It has been a long time since I met such a durable punching bag!"
"Stop playing around, Thor!"
Jiang Li held up a load-bearing pillar that was about to collapse with all four arms and shouted, "This ship is about to fall apart! If you use lightning again, we'll really end up feeding the fish in the Atlantic Ocean!"
By now, the entire hangar was riddled with holes, and howling winds poured in from outside.
If they kept brawling at this level, they could tear the ship apart themselves without Hawkeye even needing to blow up the engines.
"Then what do you suggest?" Thor tried to grab Hulk, only for Hulk to shake him off with surprising agility.
"Since brute force can't hold him down, then we'll use... the laws of physics!"
Jiang Li's gaze sharpened as he watched the rampaging Hulk.
It was time to switch tactics.
He slammed a hand onto the Omnitrix on his chest, turned the dial, and selected the heavy icon that possessed planetary-scale gravity.
"Omnitrix, give me a big one!"
"It's Hero Time!"
A steady, weighty dark-red flash swept through the hangar.
Four Arms' heavily muscled body vanished.
In his place stood a gigantic rock creature, like a miniature planet. His body was made of reddish-brown stone, with a molten sphere radiating gravitational waves at its core. His limbs were thick, and the top of his head resembled a small volcanic crater.
"Galilean—Gravattack!"
"Hulk!"
Jiang Li's deep voice seemed to carry its own echo. "You're strong, but I wonder if you've ever studied Newton's Laws?"
Hulk, who had been about to deliver the final blow to Thor, froze for a moment and turned to stare at this rock-like monster.
"Hulk... hates rocks!"
Hulk roared and charged at Jiang Li, his enormous fist crashing down with world-shattering force.
"Then calm down for a bit."
Jiang Li slowly raised one massive stone hand, and the gravity core in his palm suddenly lit up.
"Gravity... reversal!"
"Bzzzz—!!"
A strange force field instantly enveloped Hulk.
Hulk, who had been charging so fiercely, suddenly felt his feet grow light.
That green body weighing several tons became like a helium-filled balloon, instantly losing all traction and floating uncontrollably into the air!
"Roar??"
Hulk flailed wildly in midair, desperately trying to grab onto something. But in a zero-gravity state, his boundless strength had nowhere to go!
That was Gravattack's terror—if you could not touch the ground, no amount of strength would help.
"It's not over yet."
Jiang Li pointed his other hand at the countless floating fighter wreckages and chunks of concrete around them.
"Gravity Capture!"
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—"
Countless tons of wreckage seemed to be pulled by a black hole, beginning to orbit the floating Hulk like planetary rings.
The next second, the debris violently collapsed inward!
"Planetary Devastation!!"
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Countless pieces of reinforced concrete slammed into Hulk. In the blink of an eye, they wrapped around him layer upon layer, forming a massive artificial meteor more than five meters in diameter!
"Roar!!!"
Hulk's furious roar rang out from inside the sphere, but no matter how he struggled, the gravitational field locked every stone firmly in place.
"Get... down!"
Jiang Li swept both hands downward, instantly increasing gravity to twenty times normal!
The enormous sphere did not crash into the floor—that would have punched straight through the Helicarrier. Instead, as if seized by an invisible giant hand, it was flung directly through the massive hole in the damaged hangar!
"Whoosh—"
Hulk and that enormous ball of debris became a meteor, plummeting straight toward the clouds ten thousand meters below.
"Phew..."
Jiang Li let out a breath. That move had drained a tremendous amount of stamina. Just as he was about to release the gravitational field—
The Omnitrix suddenly emitted a shrill crackle of electricity.
[Warning! High-intensity gravitational wave interference detected...] [Resonance occurring with the "Space Stone" energy in this area...] [Spacetime anchor has shifted...]
"What?"
Jiang Li froze.
At that instant, the world before his eyes suddenly doubled.
Hulk had been falling toward the surface of the Atlantic Ocean, but in that fleeting moment, space seemed to crack apart like a mirror.
Through that fragment, Jiang Li saw a... completely different New York.
It was night there as well, but the sky was an eerie purple.
A girl in a white hooded bodysuit and goggles swung between skyscrapers on webbing. She seemed to sense something, abruptly turned around, and met Jiang Li's eyes through the rift in space and time.
"Gwen?"
Jiang Li called out that name instinctively.
"Bzzzt—!"
The vision vanished instantly.
The Omnitrix returned to its normal green glow.
The ocean was still the same ocean, and Thor was still nearby dusting himself off.
"Jiang? What were you looking at just now?" Thor asked in confusion. "Your watch seemed to be... leaking electricity?"
"It was... nothing."
Jiang Li took a deep breath and forcibly suppressed the shock in his heart.
That girl just now... had definitely been Spider-Gwen!
So Gravattack's gravitational waves, combined with the Space Stone's radiation, could temporarily tear open the veil of the Multiverse?
That meant... his watch was not merely a genetic archive. It was also a key? A key to infinite possibilities.
"Looks like things won't be boring from now on."
Jiang Li looked at the dial on his wrist, now calm again, and a hint of anticipation curled at the corner of his mouth.
"Let's go, Thor."
Jiang Li changed back into human form and picked up a metal panel from the floor. "Tony should have fixed the engines by now. We need to go clean up that one-eyed director's house, and then..."
He looked toward New York.
"Get ready to welcome the real war."
