Azmuth arranged for the Omnitrix to reach Jiang Li, selecting him as an anomalous data point capable of maintaining universal balance against threats such as the Beyonders. Upon activation in New York, the device bound itself to Jiang Li's DNA and opened its initial transformation library. 1 293

Its early operation required manual dial selection and imposed recharge periods after demanding transformations. Way Big's output, for example, exhausted the device after roughly three minutes and triggered a 180-second recharge mode. 25 Jiang Li gradually circumvented these restrictions through earned Master Control access, Infinity Stone energy analysis, and the absorption of Albedo's evolutionary algorithm. 10 93 100

The Omnitrix was repeatedly targeted as an unprecedented technological prize. Ultron identified it as an infinite-level threat and attempted to breach its genetic code, while the High Evolutionary created a dedicated genetic-interference virus to corrupt its DNA database. Appearance

The original Omnitrix is a deep black-green wristwatch made from a material resembling neither metal nor jade. Its broad dial resembles an hourglass, marked by two fluorescent-green lines forming its central emblem. 1
