Her consolidation of authority followed Qian Xunji’s death. Rather than reclaiming the Pope’s authority, Qian Daoliu entrusted most of Spirit Hall’s affairs to her, allowing the Papal Hall to expand while the Worship Hall withdrew from daily administration. Over the years, Bibi Dong purged opponents, cultivated her own forces, and brought numerous soul masters under her command. Qian Daochen’s growing influence outside Spirit Hall further disrupted her plans. Dugu Bo acknowledged him as master, the Heaven Dou Empire declared its submission, and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan subsequently pledged allegiance to him. Her pride is easily provoked: being ranked tenth and mocked as the “Watered-Down Pope” enraged her enough to release pressure that cracked the Papal Hall’s floor. However, she quickly accepted the exposure of her secrets once she saw the value of the Heavenly Dao’s rewards. 4 5 9

She is also strategic and expansionist. Bibi Dong seeks to unify Douluo Continent, views powerful soul beasts as subjects for conquest, and intends to target the Sun Moon Empire after establishing the Spirit Empire. 12 24 31

Bibi Dong is deeply resentful of advantages granted by the Heavenly Dao to those ranked above her, particularly the incomplete godhood awarded to Bo Saixi and the Special Godhood awarded to Di Tian.
