Background / History

Qian Daoliu is the biological younger brother of Qian Daochen, the Angel Clan's strongest known member from thirty years earlier. Qian Daochen personally taught many of Qian Daoliu's abilities and remained the standard Qian Daoliu pursued throughout his life 4 16.

In his youth, Qian Daoliu traveled the continent alongside Tang Chen. Their first battle lasted an entire day without a decisive result, establishing a relationship of mutual admiration despite their rivalry. The pair later journeyed to Sea God's Island, fought formidable enemies together, and were defeated by Bo Saixi while she wielded Sea God Island's power 32 33.

Before departing for Sea God's Island, Qian Daoliu returned to meet Qian Daochen. He treated his elder brother with pronounced deference, folding away his Seraphim wings and addressing him as “Big Brother” from a respectful distance 33. When Tang Chen challenged Qian Daochen, Qian Daoliu warned him against it; Tang Chen was nevertheless defeated without Qian Daochen drawing his sword 33 34.

After Qian Daochen vanished, Qian Daoliu remained in Spirit Hall for thirty years. He guarded the Angel God's Temple and, following Qian Xunji's death, yielded much of Spirit Hall's administrative power to Bibi Dong, allowing the Papal Hall to expand while the Worship Hall withdrew from daily management 4 40.

The Heavenly Dao Ranking's arrival confirms to Qian Daoliu that Qian Daochen's warnings about the Sun Moon Continent had been true. When Qian Renxue reports meeting a man claiming to be her granduncle, Qian Daoliu recognizes the description and realizes that his brother has returned 16.

Appearance

In the Heavenly Screen's records of his youth, Qian Daoliu is shown in golden robes and possesses six Seraphim wings, which he can fold away at will 33.
