Background / History

Qian Daochen was not originally from Douluo Continent. After transmigrating there, he became Qian Daoliu's elder brother. He rapidly rose to the continent's peak, crushed his contemporaries, and established a glorious reputation before touching unspecified taboos and disappearing without trace. As the decades passed, his name faded from public memory. 1

Thirty years before the Heavenly Dao Ranking's descent, Qian Daochen was already the strongest member of the Angel Clan. Qian Daoliu and Tang Chen visited him during their travels; despite Tang Chen being a Rank 99 assault-type Peerless Douluo, Qian Daochen defeated him without drawing his sword, using two fingers to sever Tang Chen's connection to the Clear Sky Hammer and Ring Detonation. 33 34

He later went to Sea God Island, where he practiced swordsmanship and guided both Tang Chen and Qian Daoliu toward a more focused path of cultivation. There, Bo Saixi confessed to him. During his absence, Qian Daochen remained hidden and waited for an opportunity to alter the future path arranged by the Divine Realm.
