Background / History

Howard meets Han Lin at the Waldorf Hotel after Han Lin uses knowledge of the Strategic Scientific Reserve and the Super Soldier Serum to secure an audience. Initially suspecting Han Lin of espionage, Howard agrees to monitor both Han Lin and Steve Rogers while verifying the claims through evidence and testing. Han Lin’s displays of speed, strength, and jumping ability convince Howard that he is dealing with something beyond an ordinary human. 6 7

He brings Han Lin into Stark Industries facilities and later introduces him to Dr. Abraham Erskine and the Strategic Scientific Reserve.
