Shadowcat Wants an Autograph, Jean Grey Takes the Initiative

Chen Xi returned to the reception room and showed them the blurry, dim footage, along with the video of John having his neck snapped by an unfamiliar Mutant.

In the video, John got into a conflict with someone at a bar, demanded that the man's girlfriend keep him company, and was killed after leaving the bar...

After watching it, Charles and Hank did not know what to say.

That guy had always been so hot-tempered. Whenever someone disagreed with him, he relied on his abilities to show off everywhere. This time, he had finally hit a wall.

"Professor, what should we do?"

Hank asked calmly. He felt that John had gotten what he deserved.

There had never been many people at the school who liked John. He was terribly unpopular; only Iceman was close to him.

"I'll think it over."

Charles rubbed his temples in pain. John had really left him with a troublesome mess!

"Hehe, I'm truly sorry to have troubled Chen Xi again to help us find the real culprit."

Charles said with a grateful smile.

"Haha, it's only natural. Jean is my girlfriend, so aren't her matters my matters too?"

"Kitty, what happened? You're sweating all over."

Jean Grey amusedly tapped her little head...

"Hehe, of course I'm here to get the big star's autograph!"

Shadowcat grinned, then blinked her cute, sparkling eyes at Chen Xi...

"All right, cute little girl."

Chen Xi was amused by her as well. He took the pen and photographs Shadowcat handed him and signed them one by one. Clearly, she had come on behalf of a group of children from Mutant School.

"Hehe, you're so nice."

Wanda quickly covered his mouth and said anxiously. She indulged Chen Xi far too much, all because he had shattered the darkness that day and brought her out of suffering.
