Tang Wulin grew up in Aolai City as the daughter of Tang Ziran and Lang Yue. Her Bluesilver Grass Martial Soul and innate Rank 3 soul power caused her to be treated as weak by classmates, but she refused to let their judgment define her. 12 15

When her parents adopted the apparently amnesiac Chen An, she immediately accepted him as her younger brother and promised to care for him. She defended him when other children tried to bully him, even though she was already a target herself. 12

Tang Wulin introduced Chen An to forging under Mang Tian, seeing blacksmithing as both a useful profession and a way to support their family. Her exceptional physical strength allowed her to endure punishing forging work, while her perseverance carried her through Thousandfold Forging despite collapsing from exhaustion. 13 18
