The original work recorded very little about the coup on the moon.

Nor did it provide an exact date for when it happened.

The only thing that could be inferred was that it seemed to have taken place before Otsutsuki Toneri's father brought him to Earth to see Hinata. Otherwise, why would a mere father-and-son pair from the branch family be able to descend to Earth so freely?

And so confidently declare that Hinata was Toneri's future wife, burdened with the duty of being humanity's progenitor?

Of course, that was only speculation. It was also possible that the rebellion happened when Toneri was close to adulthood.

But it didn't matter. As long as that rebellion showed even the slightest sign of beginning, Hyuga Hitoshi, the master at fanning the flames, would have room for maneuver.

Such a world was clearly wrong, so they wanted to unite the clansmen and use the power of the Tenseigan to destroy the shinobi world.

The main family, on the other hand, yearned for peace and had no desire to provoke conflict. They were dissatisfied with the branch family's distortion of Hamura's will.

The branch family was even more straightforward. They directly sacrificed the eyes of all their clansmen, creating the earliest version of the Mutated Byakugan—the pale-purple Tenseigan—and efficiently wiped out every member of the main family.

After exterminating them, they gathered all the Byakugan from both the main and branch families, then created the Energy Vessel Tenseigan within Hamura Shrine. Relying on that tremendous power, they planned to one day move the moon into Earth.

Taking all that into account.

If Hitoshi wanted to seize the moon and monopolize Kaguya Otsutsuki, he had to prepare to deal with the Tenseigan.

Still, that was the worst-case scenario.

Hyuga Hitoshi touched his eyes, understanding settling in his heart.

To him, the so-called Tenseigan was more like a mutation. Otherwise, why hadn't Hamura, whose bloodline was the purest, managed to create one, while the branch family had?

The branch family must have succeeded only by combining certain ancestral legends.

He hadn't expected the Mutated Byakugan to be so powerful that it was even praised as the endpoint of the Byakugan.

Fortunately, that was only the endpoint of the Byakugan, not the endpoint of Hyuga Hitoshi.

The Shadow Clone on the moon had already committed suicide and returned.

Hyuga Hitoshi could now sense the coordinates on the moon. He only needed to activate Intangible Teleportation to arrive there.

However, he did not act rashly. Instead, he carefully received the information passed on by the Shadow Clone.

The Shadow Clone's journey had been relatively smooth.

But some of the intelligence required careful consideration.

First, it was certain that entering the passage did result in being affected by genjutsu. However, according to the Shadow Clone's analysis, the purer one's bloodline, the weaker the suppression. The Chakra consumption was also acceptable. It could even be confirmed that the formation within the passage likely had some sort of switch that could deactivate it.

Second, the end of the passage did indeed connect to the moon. The Shadow Clone said that seeing Earth from the moon was breathtaking. More strangely, the moon had air, towering buildings, palaces, and soil similar to Earth's. Humans would have little difficulty surviving there.

Third, after exiting, the Shadow Clone found no guards. It offered two explanations: either they had never imagined anyone could reach the moon through the passage, or they were occupied with other matters and had no time to attend to this place. The Shadow Clone personally leaned toward the former, because it had even boldly activated its Byakugan to survey the surroundings and slipped close to a group of Otsutsuki clansmen wearing uniform clothing.

It believed that if it put on their clothes, they would not notice anything amiss. They would naturally assume the Shadow Clone was one of their own clansmen. Their vigilance was not particularly high.

This indirectly proved that the coup had not happened yet and was still in its brewing stage.

Clearly.

That was not good news.

Hyuga Hitoshi rubbed his chin. He was not disappointed, though. At worst, he would just need to put in a little more effort.

The best news brought back by the Shadow Clone was the situation with the passage.

It was good that it could be closed. That way, he could lead an elite force onto the moon at any time and replace Hamura's descendants.

Previously, he had thought it completely wrong to call those Celestial Dragons his ancestors.

They were all Hamura's descendants. None of them had the right to claim superiority. What was wrong with him going up there to see Princess Kaguya? Didn't they know his nickname was Zu Chongzhi?

Having gained a preliminary understanding of the moon's situation, Hyuga Hitoshi was in no hurry to act.

He already knew well how much Chakra the passage consumed. He could proceed gradually.

It was late at night, and his excess energy was almost exhausted. Going back to hold Hyuga Pakura while sleeping was the proper choice.

With a thought, he recorded the coordinates of this place, and a vortex appeared around Hyuga Hitoshi.

He glanced at the two frozen corpses within the developed Space-Time, shook his head, let out a long sigh, and stepped out.
