Background / History

Hitoshi was reborn into the shinobi world and later recovered memories of his past life through an enlightenment. Rather than rejecting his Hyuga upbringing, the fusion of both lives’ memories gave him a strong attachment to the clan and a determination to lead it out of Konoha’s political mire. His Golden Finger, awakened alongside those memories, rewards correct decisions and drives the continuous evolution of his body and eyes 8.

As clan head, Hitoshi curtailed the continued use of the Caged Bird Curse Mark and stripped the elders of meaningful influence. His brothers Hiashi and Hizashi regard him with unusual reverence, while the clan follows his authority over the elders’ objections 5 6.

He began preparing the Hyuga Clan’s departure from Konoha well before the break became public.
