He survived as an orphan by running errands, cleaning soul-beast hides, and occasionally stealing food. After awakening the Skin Martial Soul at six, he fought back against local thugs in an alley and caught the attention of Luo Wei, who brought him into the Body Sect. 45

Within the sect, Long Aotian became the foremost talent of his generation and was widely expected to inherit its leadership.
