Luo Wei is the only woman among the Body Sect’s council of elders. She witnessed Lu Chen survive the Innate Secret Art’s lethal body-tempering regimen and recognized his unprecedented regenerative physique. 25

She was once close friends with Xian Lin’er, but their friendship became a rivalry over the same man. Luo Wei created Flash Step while competing against Xian Lin’er, defeated her in combat, and later recounts the affair with a mixture of lingering hurt and humor. The man was strongly implied to be Yan Shaozhe, whose hostile and emotionally charged exchanges with Luo Wei reveal their shared history from that period. 31 37 39

Following the Body Sect elders’ Second Awakenings, Luo Wei advanced from Rank 95 to Rank 96 and gained a Golden-Tier awakened state. This transformation substantially increased her standing among the sect’s high-level combatants. 84 114

She is warm toward the younger generation. She invites Tang Ya to call her “Aunt Luo,” protects her during the Star Dou Forest expedition, and carefully explains why Tang Ya must not openly use her Devouring Attribute without Lu Chen’s purification nearby. 29 42 43

Her care for Tang Ya extends beyond simple protection. She personally searches the Star Dou Forest with Tang Ya for a compatible dark-attributed third Soul Ring, persevering until they find the Netherworld Life-Reaping Orchid. 71 76

Though openly contemptuous of Shrek Academy and Yan Shaozhe, Luo Wei avoids provoking conflicts she cannot safely control, recognizing the danger posed by equally powerful opponents such as Crimson King and Yan Shaozhe. 31 40

Star Dou Forest Expedition

In Du Bushi’s absence, Luo Wei leads Lu Chen, Tang Ya, and Long Aotian into the Star Dou Forest for their Soul Ring hunts. She acts as guide, protector, and evaluator while allowing Lu Chen to take calculated risks based on his Immortal Body. 29 30

She permits Lu Chen to fight and absorb the ten-thousand-year Earth Demon Ape, prevents Shrek from interfering, and later safeguards him during the absorption process. 31 32 33

Luo Wei also identifies the danger posed by the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and Scarlet King. She releases her Soul Rings in response to the Fierce Beast but prioritizes the safety of Lu Chen and the younger disciples over escalation. 40

Shrek Academy Conflict

Luo Wei confronts Yan Shaozhe when Shrek’s group arrives in the forest, exposing the longstanding hostility between the Body Sect and Shrek. She defends Lu Chen after Ma Xiaotao attacks him and reinforces his demand for compensation from Yan Shaozhe. 31 38

After Yan Shaozhe supplies two thirty-thousand-year Soul Beasts in exchange for Ma Xiaotao’s treatment, Luo Wei oversees Lu Chen’s battle with and absorption of the Mountain-Shaking Dragon Rhino. 41 42 43
