Background

Jiang Tieyi was born to a miner’s family and entered the mines at six years old, carrying ore for four years. The labor that shaped his body also shaped his view of strength: endurance is earned through hardship rather than displayed through refinement. 41

Before joining Su Chen, he spent his exceptional potential on practical survival—mining faster and hunting food. Su Chen encountered him in Ironfang Town killing a heavily armored Rock Armor Beast with his bare fists, recognized the rare Savage Ancient Ape Martial Soul, and recruited him by promising unlimited meat. Jiang immediately swore loyalty, becoming Su Chen’s fourth companion. 12

Su Chen tested him against Iron Wall, a Ten-Thousand-Year Fearclaw Bear. Jiang withstood two full-force claws without moving, establishing himself as the group’s immovable frontline core. 12
